Erich Gonzales, hindi daw siya nag paplastic Surgery!

Erich Gonzales makes her debut as a lead actress with Katorse, a TV remake of the ‘80s cinema classic, which starred Dina Bonnevie. As she takes on a more mature role, rumors that she had breast augmentation surgery done began to surface.

“Hindi po. Naku, hindi po talaga ako nagpagawa. Alam nila yun sa show, para-paraan lang yan. Totoo ito, nagulat din ako na ganyan pala siya,” Erich laughed. “Hindi po ako affected kasi I know naman po na hindi po talaga totoo yun. Siyempre ngayon lang po nila ako nakitang naglabas ng kontinglang, ganun na po yung sinasabi nila. Itanong pa nila sa Faces and Curves, hindi po talaga.”

Erich believes that there’s nothing wrong with body enhancements, but personally, she wouldn’t go for it. “Wala namang masama dun ‘di ba? Kung gusto mo naman talaga bakit hindi. Pero ako po, okay na po ako. Choice ko po na huwag kasi po happy po ako kung anong meron ako. Totoo po lahat yan. Walang, ‘Thank you, doc.’”

Aside from the breast augmentation issue, there have been some who question her talents and say she does not deserve the projects she has been receiving. “Siyempre po hindi naman natin maiiwasan na ganun po yung mga sinasabi ng mga tao. Kung ano man po yung mga sinasabi nila, okay lang po, ganun po talaga. Basta ako po, basta trabaho po. Andito ako para magtrabaho, basta wala naman po ako nasasaktan at natatapakan na ibang tao, yun po.”

Erich also said that she is so excited about this project that she won’t let negative thoughts get in the way. “Yung Katorse po sobrang challenging po talaga and first time ko po mag-lead sa isang show kinakabahan po talaga ako pero nandiyan po yung suporta ng mga tao. Sana suportahan pa rin nila at sana magustuhan ng mga manonood and kami po sa show sobrang pinaghahandaan po talaga naming. Ginagawa po namin lahat para mapaganda yung show.”

Erich has high hopes that her show will do well and that it will be the start of better things to come. “Masaya ako na kinakabahan. Excited kasi malapit na ipalabas yung Katorse. Mixed emotions talaga. Talagang hinintay ko po talaga ‘to, may mga show ako dati pero iba po talaga ito. This is it!
