Unidentified people broke into Anne Curtis’s house in the early hours of July 14, 2009. According to Anne, no valuables were taken except for a bag and some clothes. During the incident, her house help were sleeping and had no idea how the robbery took place.
At the Greenwich press conference held on the same day, Anne said that she is thankful that none of her house helpers got hurt. She doesn’t want to make a big deal out of the break-in and go through the hassles of a police investigation; she just left the case in the hands of the security personnel in their area. Clueless if it is an inside job or not, she said what’s more important for her now is to make necessary precautions and extra security measures to make sure that the incident will not happen again. “I’m thankful na walang nasaktan, but hopefully hindi na sila babalik. But you know I think everything happens for a reason. After what happened, I’m still here, I am responsible enough to still do my job. It is something sad na nangyari, but life goes on, we have to keep on moving.” Anne said.
Her recent European vacation was her reward for herself for all the hard work she has done and the success she has achieved. Anne shared a funny incident during her vacation, which she considers a “hair flipping” moment. “Siguro yung hair flipping moment ko during yung vacation namin, may mahabang line [to get into a bar.] Dun sa mga talagang ginamit namin yung mga charm namin, nakapasok kami and hindi pa namin kailangan magbayad. Winning moment talaga yun for me. Talagang ang haba ng mga hair. It was a good experience for all of us.”
Anne also shared that she is way past the hard phase of her past relationship. “You really become a winner you really have to go through the stage of crying, or anger… Kung anu-ano ginagawa mo, you have to go through it para in the end you can say: finish na, move on na, tama na. Hindi maiiwasan na magreminisce pero now happy na.”
“I’m really happy, everything is going well in my life in terms of career, and everything is just a winning moment.” Anne said bouncers
