MANILA, Philippines – "Eat Bulaga Live" is ready and all set to start this Saturday, April 4, at the Boardwalk Hall Arena, Atlantic City, New Jersey.
According to Dominic Gonzales of First Name Production, "Eat Bulaga Live" has been a much awaited show not only by Pinoys in the New Jersey area but as well as New York. It also marks their debut in producing and promoting a big scale show such as "Eat Bulaga Live."
"There was a clamor for an 'Eat Bulaga' show for a long time already. So I answered their clamor and ticket sales has always been positive," expressed Dominic. He noted that Filipino families in the area are excited about watching the hosts of the noontime show.
"They buy tickets by the bulk and they even plan their trip to Atlantic City. They make it their excursion," he said with a smile. "Everyone is excited to see Tito, Vic and Joey live after so many years."
He observed too that despite the recession in the United States, Pinoys made it a point to see "Eat Bulaga Live."
Scheduled to perform are Dabarkads Allan K, Jimmy Santos, Ruby Rodriguez, Jose Manalo, Wally Bayola, Pia Guanio, Pauleen Luna, Lougee, and Julia Clarete. Their special guests are Ruffa Gutierrez, Rufa Mae Quinto, Rhian Ramos, and Richard Gutierrez.
Boardwalk Hall Arena is one of the biggest venues in Atlantic City with a capacity of around 12,000 people. But the producer, to prevent confusion, revealed that they would only utilize the area for 6,500 people.
"Eat Bulaga Live" is a timely performance since the longest-running noontime show celebrates its 30th anniversary this year.
