Marian Rivera is reaping the fruits of her hardwork, luck and labor. Aside from the viewers-favorite and toprater Darna, which premiered on GMA’s primetime block last week, Marian is busy promoting the August 26 opening of her movie, Tarot, and the August 23 showing of her sitcom, Show Me the Manny. She’s paired with Dennis Trillo in the suspense/thriller movie by Regal Films, while she plays Manny Pacquiao’s leading lady on the Kapuso network’s weekend sitcom replacing Vic Sotto’s Full Haus.
But wait, those projects are for starters! Marian will soon start filming for Nieves, one of Regal Film’s entry to this year’s Metro Manila Film Festival come December. She was also tapped by Mother Lily to play Sharon Cuneta’s daughter in Mano Po 6, after Kim Chiu, Angel Locsin, Carla Abellana and Bea Alonzo declined the offer from Regal Films.
