At the recently concluded Star Magic Ball, Bea Alonzo impressed a lot of people with her slimmer figure, which was clad in a body-hugging Francis Libiran creation that night. Thanks to her strict diet and exercise program, the 23-year-old actress looked sexier as she hosted the event with John Lloyd Cruz and Piolo Pascual. Bea was also glowing because her movie And I Love You So did well despite the difficulties they had with the screenings. “I am really, really happy. Dun ko talaga napatunayan na sobrang bait ni Lord. Mas tumindi yung faith ko at nalaman ko rin kung gaano kadaming tao ang nagmamahal sa akin,” she began.
Since her constant screen partner John Lloyd has made blockbuster hits with Sarah Geronimo, Bea felt the pressure to bring in the same results. But with the good reviews and praises that she has been reaping, Bea feels that the scary part of her movie venture is finally over. “I try not to worry anymore. Parang naniniwala na lang ako sa destiny. Narealize ko na kahit gaano kasama or hirap ng isang sitwasyon, there’s always something good that can come out of it.”
She’s looking forward to working with John Lloyd again, knowing that she would be able to share her newfound lessons and experiences as an artist with him. “Ang sarap isipin na parang hindi na ako mahihiyang maipair sa kanya ulit kasi siya ang dami niyang baon na success at ako meron na din. Yun lang naman ang goal ko,” she shared.
Bea was very grateful to all the people who made her success possible. “Siyempre si Lord kasi talagang sa kanya lang ako kumakapit every time. And then family ko, pinakita nila sa akin na tao lang ako na pwedeng masaktan. Siyempre ang nanay at tatay ko sa Star Magic si Mr. M (Johnny Manahan) and Ms. Mariole Alberto. Si Direk Lauren (Dyogi), siya yung nagturo sa akin umarte…marami pa talaga. I think lahat ng nakatrabaho ko kailangan ko pasalamatan pati yung nagbibigay sa akin ng sama ng loob kasi sila yung reason kung bakit stronger na ako ngayon,” she concluded.
