The fourth American Idol judge was chosen and it is going to be Ellen Degeneres. Ellen made the announcement at the taping of her talk show today. See the video below.
After Paula Abdul leaves the reality show American Idol, the show provided some guest judge in their American Idol auditions such as Victoria Beckham and Katty Perry. And now, Ellen will be the official judge in the whole season of American Idol.
So as it stands now, the four judges for next year will be Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson, Kara DioGuardi and Ellen DeGeneres.
