MANILA - Toni Gonzaga and Bianca Gonzales will fill in for Kris Aquino while she takes a 10-day vacation abroad with her husband, cager James Yap, and two children, Joshua and James Yap Jr.
Gonzaga and Gonzales will temporarily host Aquino’s entertainment show, “SNN: Showbiz News Ngayon,” on weekdays. This is on top of their hosting job on “Entertainment Live (E-Live),” which airs every Saturday.
“Nangako po ako sa mga anak ko na kailangan nila ng panahon na magkakasama kami bago bumalik sa PBA (Philippine Basketball Association) si James. It's with so much pleasure on my behalf kasi ang magho-host muna [ay] ang ating mga E-Live girls together with Boy (Abunda)," Aquino announced on SNN.
Aquino said another E-Live host, Mariel Rodriguez, might also be part of SNN as soon as she arrives from the United States. Rodriguez is now in the US, together with "Wowowee" host Willie Revillame and Pokwang, for the "Wowowillie" show.
Abunda, Rodriguez’s talent manager, confirmed that the latter will be flying back soon to join him, Gonzaga and Gonzales.
"When she comes back she will join us," Abunda said.
Kris said she and her family will relax in Hawaii, which is their first trip abroad after the death of former president Corazon Aquino.
