As we all know, dear friend Cristine Reyes is touring the United States for a series of shows there. Though Cristine has started taping for her upcoming show Kristine Series, she went to the States to fulfill a previously committed obligation.
Just a few days ago, I was able to talk to her through a video chat, along with other friends. She seemed happy though, leading me to wonder what could have gone wrong in the States.
Few minutes earlier, Cristine expressed her disappointments over a possible breach of contract committed by her show producer/coordinator Alegria Natividad.
Apparently, Ms. Natividad has not yet paid Cristine and other performers. Though there are stipulations in the contract as to the payment of services rendered, Ms. Natividad has not fulfilled the same.
Out of generosity and goodwill, Cristine performed for the benefit of our kababayans who went to the venue just to see her. But still, that will not release Ms. Natividad from any obligation arising from the contract.
