MANILA, Philippines - From t-shirts to fans, various novelty items have become available as souvenir items to mark the inauguration of Benigno "Noynoy" Aquino III as the 15th President of the Philippines.
These are sold by vendors at Quirino Grandstand in Manila, site of the noontime inauguration, and at Quezon Memorial Circle where Aquino will have a street party for the public Wednesday night.
Among the novelty items is a Noynoy cellphone.

"Limited edition ito. Ilalagay natin yung journey ni Noynoy. Sa ibang phone pwedeng mapanood ang mga excerpts up to inauguration," said Carlo Umali of My Phone.
The Noynoy cellphone comes with unique features: a copy of the letter written by the late Senator Benigno "Ninoy" Aquino Jr., father of Noynoy, to his son; a ring tone of the theme of the new administration, and a portrait of Noynoy on the phone's back casing.
The said cellphone costs P2,990 to P4,990 depending on the model.
The Noynoy cellphone will be released next week.
Other souvenir items spotted are sunglasses, ballpens, bags, ID lace, rosaries, CDs, and even soap. These were made by volunteers who helped campaign for Aquino.

"Nagbibigay kami because we believe in him. We came up with helping him," said Myles Gamboa, one of the volunteers.
The necklaces, hats, baller bracelets, pins, stickers and ribbons which were first seen during the campaign are still available.
VIPs who attended the inauguration were given ballpens and keychains.
The memorabilia done by the volunteers cost P10 to P100 each, and sales proceeds will be given to the Yellow Ribbon Movement, a foundation established to honor Aquino's parents, Ninoy and Cory Aquinjo. -- Report from Wheng Hidalgo, ABS-CBN News
