Kris, her kids Baby James and Joshua,with two helpers left on board Philippine Air Lines flight 102 bound for Los Angeles, USA at around 10:00 p.m. via terminal 2 of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport.
Assisted the Queen of talk for Kirs and company with regards to their check in were two Presidential Security Guards and staff of the Manila International Airport Authority. They had 9 checked-in luggages and 5 hand-carried bagges. They were booked business class.
Kris was able to avoid the media with the help of airport authorities who let them in the airport through the tarmac and into the presidential lounge instead of through the passenger entrance gates.
The president’s sister and her companions stayed in the presidential lounge for almost 2 hours before entering the plane through gate 49 of terminal 2.
Among those who assisted Kris and her party at the terminal were the new airport general manager Angel Honrado, NAIA terminal 2 manager Atty. Butch Bautista, and airport media affairs chief Consuelo Bungag. Meanwhile Husband James Yap was nowhere to be seen at the airport.
PR 102 took off runway 06-24 at 10:00 p.m.. Kris did not release a statement surrounding her trip.
On June 27, Kris announced that she has given up her marriage with her husband after six years of marriage.
However, James has said he wants to give their marriage another chance.
Kris also mentioned during the election campaign that she would leave the Philippines if her brother won the presidential elections in order not to drag him from controversy.
