In a presscon last September 9, 2010 at the 9501 Restaurant inside the ABS-CBN compound, Sharon Cuneta unveiled her three brand new TV shows. In Sharon at Home, the doting mother of three gets to indulge in her inner homemaker as she welcomes viewers into one of her homes (this one located in Alabang) where she shares hobbies, tips and recipes with her viewers. On her home, Sharon says, “This is where I’m most comfortable, most myself. This is where you’ll get to know the other side of me.” This intimate look in the Megastar’s life will be shown exclusively on the premiere lifestyle authority for women, Lifestyle Network.In Star Power, Sharon plays the ultimate mentor as she plays both host and judge to young hopefuls in this talent search which will feature and search for a different kind of group with each new season. In their premiere season, they look for the next female pop singing sensation. Thousands of girls, aged 15 to 21, auditioned from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao and whittled down to the top 37 who will compete to be included in the Star Power 12. Along with other celebrity judges Billy Crawford, Mitch Valdez, and Johnny Delgado, Sharon admitted it was a big challenge for her to do the show. “I didn’t expect judging to be this hard. It is one of the most difficult things I’ve ever had to do. Pero excited na excited ako i-mentor sila.”
Sharon also announced that she was also chosen as the new host of The Biggest Loser Pinoy Edition which will premiere by 2011. Just like the shows successful foreign editions, the show will challenge heavyweight Pinoys to make that big change towards a better quality life through the right motivation, nutrition, diet and fitness. Over 600 Pinoys trooped to the auditions this year to be part of the show. In this show, Sharon plays empathizing advisor and even promises a surprise that will also answer the reason for her recent weight loss.
Also this October, ABS-CBN Licensing launches Celebrations by Sharon, the Megastar’s cooking and home line which includes cookware, bakeware, chaffing dishes, small kitchen appliances, and potted herbs carefully selected by Sharon herself and will be available in selected department stores nationwide.
