With the box office success of My Amnesia Girl, John Lloyd Cruz feels a bit sad that the movie, now on its third week run, will have to give way to the Metro Manila Film Fest entries on Christmas day. Sana ‘wag sila magpahuli,” he shared during the victory party of My Amnesia Girl held last December 9 at the ABS-CBN compound.

During the thanksgiving party, a very emotional Toni Gonzaga shared just how thankful she was to the multi-awarded actor because she knows that Lloydy is very selective about the projects that he takes on. Lloydy shared his reaction to his co-star’s revelation.
The 27-year-old actor also said he is not quick to dismiss talks about a possible sequel to My Amnesia Girl, but admitted it will probably not happen in the near future. “I’m not sure kung ito yung klase ng storya na madaling sundan ng part two kaagad-agad. Kung may part two man, siguro baka konting panahon pa para makita at mapuntahan muna ng mga taga-Creatives yung potential na pupuntahan ng storya. Bukod dun, kung another project with Toni, bakit hindi?” he said
