During the last holidays, Sam spent two weeks in the States to see his family especially his newborn niece. He also had the chance to bond with his friends, most of whom are already married with kids. “It’s so weird kasi yung ate ko, we’re only ten months apart and sobra kaming close. To think we grew up together tapos ngayon may asawa at anak na. Parang wow, hindi na ako bata. I’m still young pero I am at that age na marami na akong kaibigan sa high school, actually mga 80% sa kanila may asawa at anak na. Grabe ‘di ba?”
When asked if he ever thought about getting married himself, Sam was quick to say that he’s yet to meet the love of his life for him to seriously consider such things. “Hindi naman ako na-pressure. I still feel young. The truth is if you found the right person, the one you really love and you want to marry, then go for it. There’s nothing wrong with that, pero ako I’m single. I still have a lot of work. I don’t feel like I’m at that point in my life that I want to settle down. But if I meet the right one then let’s see. Pero wala pa talaga sa ngayon.”
