MANILA, Philippines – Now that Sarah Geronimo has gotten over her first heartbreak, the news that she has a persistent admirer in Miguel Villafuerte, 22-year-old son of Camarines Sur Gov. LRay Villafuerte, comes as a welcome development.
We were told that Miguel, 22, wanted to come to the premiere of Sarah’s current film “Catch Me I’m In Love” but failed to do so because he was flying back to New York that night.
Miguel is a graduating Political Science student at a university in New York City. Instead, he sent Sarah and her mother bouquets of flowers during the event.
No wonder, Sarah’s manager Viva Big Boss Vic Del Rosario has reportedly given his blessings to Miguel.
We were told that Miguel, after graduating, plans to settle back in the country to pursue business and maybe politics, when the time comes. Miguel, who also happens to be an entrepreneur, brought the Republic shoes and accessories to the Philippines.
The source also revealed that Sarah is a favorite in the Villafuerte household as they have met Sarah several times before. Miguel’s parents have produced shows for Sarah and Gov. LRay has tapped Sarah to endorse his tourism efforts in the province.
Gov. LRay’s wife pro-Sarah wife Lara likes the singer-actress’ wholesome, down-to-earth and decent image and she believes that she is the kind of girl her sons should go for. The mom influenced Miguel who, according to our source, has had a crush on Sarah since last year.
Let’s see how Sarah responds to Miguel’s charms.
Maybe the fact that Miguel would be a better alternative to Sarah’s “old flame” can make her consider.
