A 13-year-old boy committed suicide by hanging himself in his parents’ home in Minglanilla, Cebu, after being scolded by his mother for low grades.Police Officer 1 Ronald Imbralinag said the victim was pronounced dead on arrival at Minganilla District Hospital.
No suicide note was left on the scene.
Reports said the teenager was scolded by his mother for receiving a grade of 78 in one of his subjects.
