NEW JERSEY – GMA Network’s international channels GMA Pinoy TV and GMA Life TV, together with the Kapuso radio stations Super Radyo DZBB and Barangay LS-FM, will be one with the Filipinos in Jersey City, New Jersey on June 26 as they celebrate the 21st Annual Philippine American Friendship Day’s Grand Parade and Festival.

An annual festivity led by the Philippine American Friendship Committee, Inc. (PAFCOM), this year’s showcase of Filipino culture and street entertainment, with the theme “Unity – Together as one” will be joined by Kapuso artists Iza Calzado, Jennylyn Mercado, Aljur Abrenica, and Mark Bautista.

“We at GMA Pinoy TV and GMA Life TV are excited to make PAFCOM Grand Parade and Festival this year star-studded with the help of our Kapuso artists. It is our desire to bring our growing base of Kapuso viewers in New Jersey and the US East Coast closer to home not only through the programs we offer on both channels, but also by our presence in this grand event,” shares Joseph T. Francia, Vice President and Head of Operations for GMA International.

The Parade will start at 12 noon along West Side Avenue and will make its final stop at Lincoln Park where the Street Fair and Festival is set to begin at 1pm. Performances from young local celebrities Alyssa Shoemaker and Kirby Asunto await the guests, plus a special appearance from news anchor Kristine Johnson.
