“DZMM is bound by its mission to be the first in breaking news and the first in public service. We've fulfilled it the past 25 years and we will continue to serve the public in the same manner as we grow stronger and get better,” said Musngi.
Musngi said DZMM will also strengthen its reach by improving the current DZMM text hotline 2366 React Message and website (dzmm.com.ph). He also teased the advertisers about the major events to come this year in line with the DZMM SilveRadyo, including the launch of its new station ID on June 12. He also thanked the advertisers for the unwavering support through the years. “All of the leadership and accomplishments of DZMM would not be possible without you,” he said.
DZMM has pioneered many firsts in the broadcast industry through the years, including the simultaneous airing of programs on radio and television with the ground-breaking DZMM TeleRadyo. The station is also known for its public service through its innovative ways of bringing service to the Filipino people such as 2009’s “Kapamilya, Shower Na” that led to the birth of the DZMM TLC (Teaching Learning Caring) clinic-on-wheels and classroom-on-wheels project.
