After one week of being on the chopping block, Vince of Cainta, Rizal is the first evicted housemate in this edition. Vince joined Kit, Mariz and Claire in the 1st Nomination Night last Sunday and it takes them to get the support of the viewers of the Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition 4 in order to save themselves at the 1st Eviction Night. During the voting process viewers can only give 30 votes to any of the housemates they wanted to save per SIM Card per day.

While on the other hand during their weekly task, the teen housemates failed this task and the main reason is that they committed 3 mistakes. But aside from the mistakes they committed at the actual task is that the lack of effort and dedication to their task and also the argument and misunderstanding that happens between the teen housemates that includes Karen, Kit and Myrtle. With their failure to complete their weekly task performance they will have zero (0) budget next week.

 After the eviction of the Vince, the teen housemates will be nominating their second set of nominees very soon for the 2nd Nomination Night of the Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition 4. From being one of the country’s hottest actors, Xian Lim is marking another milestone in his showbiz career as he is now a certified recording artist with his debut album titled “So It’s You” released by Star Records. 


After winning the hearts of primetime TV viewers in the drama series “My Binondo Girl” topbilled by Kim Chiu; enchanting ladies with his magazine covers and TV commercials; and proving his hosting skills in the recently held Bb. Pilipinas, Xian Lim is now ready to prove his talent in singing. “Having your own album is every musician’s dream so I was very happy when I found out that I am going to do one. It is what I really wanted,” Xian said.

Under Star Records, “So It’s You” features five tracks including its carrier single “Puso Kong Hibang,” which is Xian’s original composition. ABS-CBN is all set to make the biggest splash this summer as its newest fantaserye Aryana joins the winning roster of primetime drama series.

Topbilled by 2008 FAMAS Best Child Actress Ella Cruz, the much-awaited fantasy tale features the adventures of a typical teenager named Aryana (Ella) whose life makes a full twist on her 14th birthday as a dark curse turns her into a mermaid.

According to Ella, doing Aryana is a fulfillment of her ultimate dream. "It has always been my childhood dream to be an actress and to star in my own teleserye in ABS-CBN. When I saw Ate Julia (Montes) and Kathryn (Bernardo) doing their own shows, I told myself that I want to have my own someday," said the former Goin’ Bulilit child star who recently made a mark among TV viewers in her portrayal as the young Cristine Reyes in the top-rating drama series Dahil sa Pag-ibig.

Ella added that Kapamilya viewers will surely enjoy the ride with Aryana as she takes everyone to the challenging world of humans and the colorful paradise of the mermaids. Ella said that aside from its unique plot it has values to share. “Our show will also teach its viewers different lessons on family, love, and environmental awareness.”

Together with Ella in Aryana is its powerhouse cast composed of Pokwang, Tonton Gutierrez, Desiree del Valle, Laurice Guillen, Tetchie Agbayani, Giselle Toengi, Rustica Carpio, Lotlot de Leon, Bianca Manalo, Chokoleit, Michelle Vito, David Chua, Boom Labrusca, Marvin Yap, Louise Abuel, and Paul Salas. After Gov. Vilma Santos, another special girl in Luis Manzano’s life will try to make a good deal with the Banker as the second part of the host-actor’s birthday celebration continues this Saturday (Apr 28) in the hit game show “Kapamilya Deal or No Deal.”

Actress Jennylyn Mercado appears on the Kapamilya Network for the very first time just for Luis. She even went through the tension of picking the right briefcases in hopes of winning the P2 million jackpot. Luis expressed how happy he was that Jennylyn was allowed to appear on ABS-CBN.

ABS-CBN star Anne Curtis will be seen modelling the creations of Filipino fashion designer Francis Libiran on the hit US reality show “America’s Next Top Model.”

Curtis recently had a photo shoot wearing four Libiran gowns with ace lensman Marc Nicdao, which will be shown on the popular show hosted by supermodel Tyra Banks.

“The cat is out of the bag. I can finally announce it! Yes, I will be on ‘America’s Next Top Model’ wearing the beautiful gowns of Francis Libiran. Congratulations Francis Libiran! You deserve the recognition,” Curtis said on her official Twitter account on Sunday.

The episode will be shown in the US on April 25 and in the Philippines on April 30, according to the actress.

Puerto Prinsesa Underground River officially inaugurated as New 7 Wonders of Nature!

The Puerto Princesa Underground River was officially inaugurated as one of the New 7 Wonders of Nature on Saturday April 21, 2012.

The inauguration ceremony, held at the One Esplanade in Pasay City, was attended by President Benigno Aquino III, Environment and Natural Resources Secretary Ramon Paje and Interior and Local Government Secretary Jesse Robredo.

Puerto Princesa Mayor Edward Hagedorn thanked the President for personally campaigning for the inclusion of the underground river, saying that the simple act of getting nominated was difficult.

Hagedorn said the success of the underground river is not only for the province of Puerto Princesa but for the whole country as well.

President Aquino, for his part, said the recognition of Palawan’s underground river will boost tourism in the province and in the country and will create job opportunities.

Aquino also stressed the importance of preserving the natural resources of the country.

The head of the New 7 Wonders of Nature Foundation Dr. Bernard Weber presented the plaque to Aquino.

Dignitaries from other countries like Vietnam and Korea also attended the inauguration.

Various artists, including Noel Cabangon, Joey Ayala and Sarah Geronimo, performed at the event.

Also making it to the list of new world wonders are the Amazon, Halong Bay, Iguazo Falls, Jeju Island, Komodo, and Table Mountain.
