MANILA, Philippines - International singing sensation Charice said she's willing to perform with "Pilipinas Got Talent" first grand winner Jovit Baldivino.
In an interview with abs-cbnNEWS.com, Charice said she sees nothing wrong with sharing the same stage with a young talented singer like Baldivino.
"Of course, willing. Si Jovit isa sa role model na dapat tularan ng mga kabataan ngayon na pinapatunayan nila na walang imposible. So, talagang inspiration din sila sa mga kabataan and sila as a role model. Siyempre it's an honor for me na makasama sila sa stage. I think kung mangyayari 'yon siyempre mai-inspire ang mga kabataan," Charice said.
Charice who is dubbed as the most talented girl in the world, said she's just flattered that Baldivino also idolizes her aside from Journey frontman Arnel Pineda.
"Very flattering siyempre kasi napakagaling. Napanood ko sa YouTube. Wala ako ng nanalo siya. Nag-trending topic siya so pinanood ko talaga at sobra. Doon ko nasabi na ang dami talagang magagaling na Pinoy," Charice said.
The singer said she is also wishing for Baldivino's success who shares the same background as her. Charice belongs to a poor family who tried her luck by joining singing competitions until she finally guested in Korea's "Star King," where was noticed by American TV host Ellen Degeneres.
From Degeneres's show "Ellen," Charice was invited to appear on "Oprah," the show of popular TV host Oprah Winfrey.
The guesting stints led to opportunities for Charice to perform with popular international artists like Andrea Bocelli, Josh Groban and her ultimate idol, Celine Dion.
