After 4 years again (2007), FIRST TO BE REPORTED HERE! Mars Ravelo's Captain Barbell is now set to premiere in GMA-7 Primetime this March 28, 2011. This TV Series Remake will be lead by Richard Gutierrez with other stars like Jillian Ward, Sollen Heussaff, Lovi Poe, Sam Pinto, Rhian Ramos, and many more. The new sequel of Captain Barbell is expected to be more better than the past. GMA-7 is reportedly using HD Cameras for better viewing of the audiences.

The cancellation is due of the low ratings and the show is not improving and Aljur Abrenica's abs is not working either. The Proof for that is just last February 25, 2011, The National Ratings of Machete over Mara Clara is very low: Mara Clara (36.0%) vs. Machete (16.9%) (National Ratings provided by Kantar Media/TNS). GMA-7 is eventually will try to put the Captain Barbell in order to save from going down. Yet, I heard that GMA-7 is proud and surely that Captain Barbell line-up will beat the ABS-CBN's Mara Clara over Ratings from Mega Manila and National Ratings. Well, We will know that in upcoming days.
