El Gamma Penumbra in Choose Philippines 2012 Music Video! (VIDEO)

Travel website Choose Philippines launched a new music video on "ASAP 2012" on Sunday.
Featuring "Pilipinas Got Talent" finalist El Gamma Penubra, the music video showed the beauty and natural wonders of the Philippines through the group's famous shadow play.
The music video, titled "Piliin mo ang Pilipinas," was performed by "Star Power" grand winner Angeline Quinto and singer Vincent Bueno.
"Piliin mo ang Pilipinas" was written by ABS-CBN CCM Vice President Robert Labayen

Maasinhon Trio is Pilipinas Got Talent Season 3 Grand Winner!

MANILA, Philippines – Southern Leyte’s the Maasinhon Trio was named "Pilipinas Got Talent Season 3" grand winner on Sunday.
The 3 singers took home P2 million.
The trio wowed judges Ai-Ai delas Alas, Kris Aquino and Freddie M. Garcia and the crowd with their version of Basil Valdez’s “Nais Ko” on Saturday’s final performance.
Bringas brothers of Davao del Sur and Parañaque City’s Khalil Joseph Ramos were given P100,000.
The other finalists each received P50,000.
A number of artists joined the 12 talented finalists onstage during the PGT Results Night.
Christian Bautista, Jed Madela, and Nina performed with the season’s best singers.
PGT hosts Billy Joe Crawford and Luis Manzano joined in on the act and showed off their dancing skills.
“Mr. Pure Energy” Gary Valenciano and son Paolo took the stage with the finalists and electrified the crowd at the Ynares Sports Complex in Antipolo City with their rendition of “Come Together.”
Rock band Kamikazee performed their hit song “Narda.”
Marcelito Pomoy, meanwhile, also took to the stage and showed why he was voted as grand winner of “PGT Season 2.”
The 12 Filipino finalists gave their all during the grand showdown of "Pilipinas Got Talent Season 3" on Saturday night.
Five finalists from Luzon made it to the finals. Visayas and Mindanao have four and three finalists, respectively.

Marcelito Pomoy is Pilipinas Got Talent Season 2 Grand Champion! Congratulations!

MANILA, Philippines (UPDATE) - Singer Marcelito Pomoy was proclaimed the grand winner of ABS-CBN’s "Pilipinas Got Talent (PGT) Season 2," the country’s biggest nationwide talent reality show, on Sunday.
Pomoy bested 13 other grand finalists after garnering 19.56% of the text votes.
The "doble-kara" performer took home a whopping P2 million in cash prize.
Meantime, dancing duo Happy Feet and Hip-hop dance group Freestylers were the 2 other grand finalists who comprised PGT’s top 3. They got 18.32% and 9.46% of the text votes, respectively.
During the PGT's Performance night on Saturday, the 27-year-old singer from Cavite dubbed as the "Man with the golden female voice" wowed the crowd with his rendition of "The Prayer."
Pomoy, who has been consistently topping PGT's text votes, received three standing ovations from judges Ai-Ai delas Alas, Kris Aquino and Freddie M. Garcia.
The two-part finale featured the spectacular performaces of 14 finalists on Saturday and the results night on Sunday at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.
PGT's most-awaited episode on both nights topped the worldwide trending topics of microblogging site, "Twitter."
Prior to Pomoy, singer Jovit Baldivino was hailed as the PGT's grand winner last year.

- John Michael- I really like the song. It would be nice if you have dancing background like Jem does.
- Angel- Magaling- Superb. Pero yung ending hindi maganda. the audio man just cut the music and didn't even give you confetti unlike other finalists. Parang unfair noh? Pangit lang ng ending. Dapat sila ang sisihin.
- Madrigal Siblings- Maganda ang vocals at ang timbre pero nothing special.
- Freestylers- Great stunts and song choice. Sana mag explore pa kayo ng ibang songs. Yung iba lang talaga paulit ulit at iba ginaya lang sa Showtime.
NO APPEAL REALLY/ LOW AUDIENCE IMPACT:
- Skeights Band- wrong song choice; need to interact with audience more; need to put more energy; dapat mapatayo ninyo sila at maki party party; the lead singer can't handle the song really.
- DJP Trio- didn't see any special at all; the dress on the neck bothers me; the songs requires you to put more energy; it's a sing and dance song; kailan pa gumalaw more. pink masyado ang costume mas maganda kung light or something glowing ang color kasi madilim yung stage at dapat mag shine kayo.
- B4- low audience impact; parang napadaan lang; pang daily contestant lang ng showtime at hindi pa makakakuha ng perfect 10. Nakulangan ako. Kinain kayo ng Freestyle.
- Filogram- same as B4; Freestyles ate you guys. Dapat my havey factor. common performance lang sa Showtime.
- Jem Cubil- I have to say wrong song choice; no idea what the title is; mas maganda kung kilala yung song na kinanta at naiintindihan; interact with the audience and viewers more.

Pilipinas Got Talent Season 2 holds it's Grand Finals this Weekend!

Hinalughog na ng nangungunang talent-reality show na “Pilipinas Got Talent” ang buong bansa at mula sa libu-libong nag-audition, 14 na lang ang natitira para maglaban laban sa inaabangang grand finals. Sino kaya sa kanila ang tatanghaling ikalawang PGT grand winner?
Huwag palalampasin ang huling pasiklaban ng talento sa “Pilipinas Got Talent 2 Grand Finals” ngayong Sabado (June 25) at Linggo (June 26) sa Araneta Coliseum.
Mamayagpag kayang muli ang mga singers tulad ni PGT grand winner Jovit Baldvino ngayong season? Susubukang iyang panatilihin ng singing siblings na Madrigal Siblings ng Cainta, Rizal; acoustic heartthrob na si Jem Cubil ng Talisay, Cebu; young balladeer na si John Michael Narag ng Mabini, Pangasinan; Pinoy Bruno Mars na si Buildex Pagales ng Digos City; tween trio na DJP Trio ng Bacolod, Negros Occidental; at male diva na si Marcelito Pomoy ng Imus, Cavite.
Hindi naman papataob pagdating sa hatawan ang dance groups na Freestylers ng Calamba, Laguna; B4 ng Baguio City; at Filogram ng Baguio City; tapdancing brothers na Happy Feet ng Libona, Bukidnon, at powerdance duo na sina Leoniel Enopia at Elizabeth Dazo ng Bacolod, Negros Occidental.
Samantala, magpapakitang gilas din sa pagmama-magic ang salamangkerong si Rico the Magician mula Caloocan; pagpapaikot ng hoola hoop sa katawan ng hoola hoop master na si Angel Calalas mula Cainta, Rizal; at pagtugtog ng mga instrumento ng bandang Skeights mula naman sa Davao City.
Inaasahang mahigpit ang kumpetisyong magaganap sa Sabado at mas mahigpit din ang kumptisyon sa pagboto dahil bawat numero o email ay limitado na ang maaring ipadala. Hanggang 30 boto kada contestant kada araw ang maari lang i-send ng isang celphone number o email sa magaganap na overnight voting. Para sa bulk voting, hanggang 30 na boto rin kada keyword. Ang “Pilipinas Got Talent” ay isa sa pinakamatagumpay at pinakapinanood na talent-reality show sa telebisyon na talaga namang nagpasikat sa unang grand winner nito na si Jovit. Simula ng siya ay manalo noong Hunyo ng nakaraang taon, nakapag-release na ang Batanguenong dating siomai vendor ng dalawang album under Star Records, ang una umani pa ng Platinum record award, at nakapagsagawa din ng kanyang major concert sa music museum.
Pati ibang grand finalists ay namamayagpag na rin sa kani-kanilang larangan dala ng pintuan binuksan para sa kanila ng PGT.

Ang “Pilipinas Got Talent” ay isa sa pinakamatagumpay at pinakapinanood na talent-reality show sa telebisyon na talaga namang nagpasikat sa unang grand winner nito na si Jovit. Simula ng siya ay manalo noong Hunyo ng nakaraang taon, nakapag-release na ang Batanguenong dating siomai vendor ng dalawang album under Star Records, ang una umani pa ng Platinum record award, at nakapagsagawa din ng kanyang major concert sa music museum.
Pati ibang grand finalists ay namamayagpag na rin sa kani-kanilang larangan dala ng pintuan binuksan para sa kanila ng PGT.
Pakatutukan ang “Pilipinas Got Talent 2 Grand Finals” live performance night sa Araneta Coliseum sa Sabado (June 25), 8:45 PM, at live results night sa Linggo (June 26), 8:15 PM sa ABS-CBN. Pangungunahan ito ng hosts na sina Luis Manzano at Billy Crawford kasama ang mga huradong sina Kris Aquino, Ai Ai Delas Alas at Freddie M. Garcia.

Almost 24 hours to go and the 14 grand finalists of Pilipinas Got Talent Season 2 will be showcasing their talents in the whole world live and to compete for Grand Champion title this Saturday June 26 and the results night on Sunday June 27. Grand finals will be held at Araneta Coliseum.

As we got hundreds of votes, the fight was really close. It seems like our viewers have many and different choices. Unlike PGT Season 1, the votes were slanted and obviously will go to Jovit Baldivino.

Yesterday, the Ballroom dancing duo 'NeilBeth' were leading but as of right now, 'Rico the Magician' is leading with almost 32% while NeilBeth comes in second with almost 22%. Seems like the winner will not be a singer huh?

Kris Aquino hindi namansin at sinupladahan ang mga Kapamilya sa Cagaya de Oro?!

Hinanap ng mga fans si Ai Ai delas alas sa Cagayan de Oro last Wednesday para sa Pilipinas Got Talent.
Sa Liceo De Cagayan University ginawa ang PGT.
Anyway, hindi raw nakapunta si Ai Ai sa Cagayan dahil maysakit daw ito. Pero, naging masaya pa rin ang PGT sa Cagayan dahil ang pumalit kay Ai Ai ay si Vice Ganda na nagpakuwela rin nang husto.
Sa dami ng mga gustong manonood sa PGT, na kahit open to the public raw `yon, kinailangan nilang mag-issue ng ticket para ma-kontrol ang pagdagsa ng mga tao sa coliseum.
Siyempre, mahigpit ang security sa buong venue dahil nandoon nga ang isa pa sa mga hurado na si Kris Aquino, bunsong kapatid ni President Noynoy Aquino.
Siyanga pala, marami ang nagandahan kay Kris, pero may mga tao na nagsabi na suplada raw ito dahil hindi man lang daw sila pinansin nito.
Pero, iginiit ng aming kausap na hindi totoong nagsuplada si Kris sa Cagayan, dahil panay rin naman daw ang ngiti nito sa mga tao sa paligid niya.
Siguro raw, na-misinterpret lang ng mga tao roon ang pagku-concentrate ni Kris sa pagdya-judge.
