Last Sunday, ASAP 2012 launched the ASAP Pop Viewers Choice Awards 2012 and finally revealed the list of nominees for each category. They also release the details on how to vote their favorite artists, love teams, movies, shows, and singers through texting. To vote for the ASAP Pop Viewers Choice Awards 2012 the viewers must text POP (category) (letter of choice) and send to 2331 for Globe, TM, and Sun Cellular subscribers and 231 for Smart and Talk ‘N Text subscribers  Each text cost Php2.50/vote for Globe, TM, Smart and Talk ‘N Text subscribers and Php2.00/vote for Sun Cellular subscribers.

Young JV's 'DOIN' IT BIG' album now available ft Your Name w/ Myrtle!

Popular R&B singer Young JV is bringing a new sound and unique music styles in his debut album under Star Records aptly titled “Doin’ It Big.”

According to the singer-actor, who also performs in ABS-CBN’s top-rating Sunday musical variety show “ASAP 2012,” his first album in his new recording label is extra-special for him as it presents the listeners everything that he can do as an artist.

“We worked on it for a year and we basically did a lot of styles of music that the youth and young adults will surely appreciate–from hip hop, R&B, acoustic, house, and more. And through it, I was able to shows my different emotions,” said Young JV, who starred in a number of teleseryes and was part of Sarah Geronimo and Gerald Anderson’s blockbuster movie hit “Won’t Last A Day Without You.”

Produced by Star Records and Doin’ It Big Productions, “Doin’ It Big” features 10 tracks including its carrier single-turned-dance-craze ‘Your Name’ which Young JV sang with Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition 4 big winner Myrtle Sarrosa. Also part of the album are his special collaborations ‘Boy Meets Girl’ with Yeng Constantino, ‘Alay’ with Akiko, ‘Rock This Town’ with Laze and Yumi, and ‘Hurts So Bad’ with Karylle. Completing the tracklist are ‘Get Up And Dance,’ ‘Kailan Kaya,’ ‘Tanong,’ ‘Got To Have You,’ and ‘Pinas.’

Coming from different ASAP groups including ASAP Sessionistas, ASAP Pinoy Champs, ASAP Acoustic Republic, and BoysRBoys, ASAP brings Aiza Seguerra, Yeng Constantino, Sam Milby, Paolo Valenciano, JM de Guzman and Zia Quizon together to complete the latest ASAP Covers.

After the success of ASAP Kanto Boys that includes John Lloyd Cruz, Billy Crawford, Vhong Navarro and Luis Manzano, ASAP 2012 brings another all male group segment that will make every girls fall in love every Sunday afternoon on ABS-CBN. I am referring to Gerald Anderson, Enchong Dee, Xian Lim and Rayver Cruz of the ASAP POPables. They were also known as the Teleserye Princes of Star Magic that gives color and exciting to ABS-CBN’s top-rating TV series. They were officially introduced in ASAP 2012 this afternoon (July 22, 2012).

Gerald, Enchong, and Rayver were known in the ASAP stage because of their dance moves in SupahDance along with other ASAP Kapamilya, while Xian who the singer in the group just launched his debut album few month ago. Jovit Baldivino's newest album 'OPM’s Greatest: Volume 1' now available!

Pinoy singing champ Jovit Baldivino dedicates his newest album, “OPM’s Greatest: Volume 1” to his Filipino fans all over the world who have remained faithful to him since his ‘Pilipinas Got Talent’ days.

“I will forever be thankful to my fans. They are a big part of my success and all my recognitions,” said Jovit.

Released under Star Records, Jovit’s third album features a compilation of his heartfelt renditions of ten well-loved Pinoy classics including its carrier single “Tell Me,” which was originally sung in the 80’s by Joey Albert.

Completing the tracklist of the all-English “OPM’s Greatest: Volume 1” album are ‘You Are My Song,’ ‘Say You’ll Never Go,’ ‘Forevermore,’ ‘Make Believe,’ ‘Only Me and You,’ ‘Someone’s Always Saying Goodbye,’ ‘Forever’s Not Enough,’ ‘My Love Will See You Through,’ and ‘I’ll Never Go,’ which is Jovit’s personal favorite. The album was produced by Jonathan Manalo.

Recently, Jovit was presented with a triple platinum award for his debut album “Faithfully” and platinum award for his second record titled “I’d Do Anything For Love.”

The first grand winner of ABS-CBN’s hit nationwide reality talent search, “PGT” was named ‘Best New Artist’ by Aliw Awards in 2010. Some of Jovit’s hit songs include ‘Faithfully,’ ‘Too Much Love Will Kill You,’ ‘Ika’y Mahal Pa Rin,’ and ‘Mula Sa Puso.’
