The Soothing Voice of Asia, Juris, gives a special gift to Filipinos across the globe as she releases her all-OPM Christmas album titled “Paskong Puno Ng Kasiyahan.” 

Released under Star Records, Juris’ first Christmas album features five original tracks, including “Ilang Pasko Pa Ba” written and arranged by Arnie Mendaros; “Nakaraang Pasko” by Tats Faustino; “Mas Maligayang Pasko” by Jungee Marcelo; “Paskong Wala Ka” written by Yugel Losarata and arranged by Jonathan Manalo; “Christmas Time” by Carla Lozada-Concio and Francis Concio; and the carrier single “Paskong Puno Ng Kasiyahan” composed Juris herself. The album also has one cover song, the anthemic “Sana Ngayong Pasko” written and arranged by Jimmy Borja.

Primetime TV prince Daniel Padilla is now a certified platinum recording artist! Daniel’s self-titled debut album reached the platinum status after selling more than 20,000 copies in less than three months, which, according to Star Records audio content manager Jonathan Manalo was the ‘fastest album to turn platinum.’ 

The album of Kathryn Bernardo’s “Princess and I” leading man has six tracks incuding “Pagsubok,” “Paniwalaan Mo,” “Prinsesa,” “Grow Old With You,” “Ako’y Iyo Ika’y Akin Lamang,” and its carrier single “Hinahanap-hanap Kita” Daniel’s debut album is still available in record bars nationwide.

Liezel Garcia debuts her first self-titled album under Star Records!

From being one of Pinoy Dream Academy’s (PDA) ‘star dreamers,’ Liezel Garcia has finally claimed her shiniest moment as the newest voice of ABS-CBN teleserye theme songs releases her first-ever, self-titled album under Star Records.

“Music lovers, especially the hopeless romantics, will surely relate with the touching melodies and beautiful lyrics of the songs in the collection,” said Liezel. “As Pinoys, we are known to be sentimental and my album is like a playlist of different love stories.”

Being one of most requested interpreters of ABS-CBN teleserye theme songs, Liezel cannot help but be compared with Queen of Teleserye Theme Songs, Angeline Quinto. “I admire Angeline in everything that she does. Both of us waited for our own ‘time’ to fulfill our dreams. We are different in terms of singing style but we both want nothing but to entertain the people who love our music.”

Liezel’s nine-track album carries six well-loved teleserye theme songs including ‘Walang Hanggan’s “Wag Ka Lang Mawawala,” which is her duet with the ‘Prince of Sentimental Songs’ and real-life boyfriend Bugoy Drilon; ‘Kung Ako’y Iiwan Mo’s “Bakit Pa;” ‘Pure Love’s “Gisingin ang Puso;” ‘PHR Presents’ “Lumayo Ka Man Sa Akin;” ‘Kristine’s “Di Ko Kayang Limutin;” and her carrier single “Ngayong Alam Ko Na,” which is the official soundtrack of the hit morning Korenovela, “Two Wives.”

From being one of the country’s hottest actors, Xian Lim is marking another milestone in his showbiz career as he is now a certified recording artist with his debut album titled “So It’s You” released by Star Records. 


After winning the hearts of primetime TV viewers in the drama series “My Binondo Girl” topbilled by Kim Chiu; enchanting ladies with his magazine covers and TV commercials; and proving his hosting skills in the recently held Bb. Pilipinas, Xian Lim is now ready to prove his talent in singing. “Having your own album is every musician’s dream so I was very happy when I found out that I am going to do one. It is what I really wanted,” Xian said.

ABS-CBN’s newest Primetime Bida teleserye “Dahil sa Pag-ibig” topbilled by Piolo Pascual, Jericho Rosales, Christopher de Leon, Cristine Reyes, and Maricar Reyes recently launched its official soundtrack album released under Star Records.
