The publicly-loved team-up of Justin and Isabel, the couple made famous by Vhong Navarro and Angel Locsin in the comedy series “TODA Max”, will make it to the big screen via an upcoming comedy film.

“I was told that I will be partnered with Angel again. I was surprised because that’s my dream,” Vhong excitedly shared.

As a love team in the weekly comedy show, “TODA Max”, they have gotten used to being partnered together. In it, Vhong plays the funny cook, Justin Bibbo while Angel plays his loving girlfriend, Isabel Padausdos.

Vhong believes that the movie will be great because he and Angel are comfortable in their comedic scenes in their weekly show.

Meanwhile in “TODA Max”, Justin will be leaving for Italy and this will make everyone, especially Isabel, lonely. As he enters the airport, Justin will receive some shocking news.

Tol (Robin Padilla), on the other hand, will be a little intimidated as Diane’s (Valerie Concepcion) ex-boyfriend returns. Guest star Gerald Anderson will be the pilot, Andrew, Diane’s rich and handsome ex.

John Lloyd Cruz revealed na paguwi niya sa Pilipinas from the US Star Magic Tour 2011 last April 2011 at from his vacation ay magsisimula na siya mag taping ng Pelikula.

How about leading lady? Source said that si Toni Gonzaga (for the second time) ang makakapareho at ang makakatambal ni John Lloyd Cruz sa pelikula.

Also, from the SPEED Magazine March 2011 Issue kung saan si Toni Gonzaga ang nasa cover. She revealed na may two movies siya under Star Cinema. One is with Ms. Eugene Domingo title 'Kakasal, Kakalas' (still tentative) at ang second ang movie with the Kanto Boys. Can't wait!

Vhong Navarro going to take a 2 weeks Break on 'Showtime'!

MANILA, Philippines - Actor-comedian Vhong Navarro is taking a short break from ABS-CBN's hit morning noontime show "Showtime."

"Sa Valentine's kasi magbabakasyon ako kasama ang aking friends kaya two weeks akong mawawala. Sana sa pagbalik ko nandiyan pa din kayo na sumusuporta sa akin. Magpapahinga lang naman ako," Navarro told Showbiz News Ngayon.

Navarro and his friends will spend their short vacation abroad. Rumor has it that the actor-comedian’s non-showbiz girlfriend will join the group.

In the same interview, Navarro also expressed his support to ABS-CBN's newest noontime show, "Happy Yipee Yehey!"

"Nakasuporta tayo sa bagong papalit. At the same time, at least ngayon ay babalik na tayo sa dating timeslot ng ‘Showtime’ kasi yon naman talaga dapat ang oras natin,” he said.

Navarro also extended his appreciation to all his supporters and people who watched his comedy-horror film "Bulong," with Angelica Panganiban as his leading lady.

Star Cinema Movie 'Bulong' only earns P33.25 Million Pesos in 5 days!

“Bulong”, Star Cinema’s horror comedy film, topped Philippine box-office last week with a haul of P33.25 million in first 5 days.

Starring Vhong Navarro and Angelica Panganiban, “Bulong” is Star Cinema’s opening salvo for 2011 and the first local mainstream movie to be screened this year after the Metro Manila Film Festival.

Star Cinema’s previous horror films earned higher in their first 5 days of showing. “Cinco” which was shown July last year had an opening gross of P38.59M while the MMFF entry “Dalaw” earned around P50 million. However, the P33.25 million opening weekend gross of “Bulong” is not bad at all.

“Bulong” bested 3 Hollywood movies which also debuted last week: The Rite (#3), Burlesque (#4) and the Warrior’s Way (#9). It was also the grand opening week of “Tangled” after its 3D debut last 2 weeks ago.

'Showtime' Returns to it's 10:30 a.m.Timeslot Starting February 12, 2011

Anne Curtis was not surprised when she and the rest of the “Showtime” team heard that their program will return to its original timeslot - which is 10:30 a.m. - when “Happy, Yipee, Yehey” premieres on Saturday at 12 p.m.

“We knew that from the beginning,” explained Curtis.

The talent-search show was placed in the noontime slot after “Pilipinas Win na Win” went off air on December 31, 2010.

“They asked ‘Showtime’ very quickly at the end of last year to be noontime for 3 hours, so naloka kami," she said. "We took on the challenge given us, but we were told naman back in December that it will only going to be until February, so it’s okay. Fight kami dyan.”

The Filipino-Australian shared that it was challenging for them to keep the show running for 3 hours every episode in a noontime slot.

Rather than being sad, Curtis is relieved that “Showtime” will return to its morning timeslot beginning Saturday.

“Kasi at least you know we’re back on the timeslot of young audience. Kasi if you’ve noticed the audience in ‘Showtime,’ they’re all young, they’re students. Gusto nila nakakanood muna sila ng ‘Showtime’ and then they go to school, kaya minsan naka-uniform sila [kapag pumupunta ng show],” she said.

She also noted that many students had protested after “Showtime” took the noontime slot. On Twitter, they complained that they could not watch the show anymore because they needed to be in school during the new timeslot.

Aside from “Showtime” and her endorsements nowadays, Curtis is busy promoting her new teleserye, titled “Green Rose,” with Jericho Rosales and Jake Cuenca and a movie with Luis Manzano, “Who’s That Girl.”

“I don’t think I could ask for anything more,” said Curtis, referring to her career.

“But if there is something more to happen, then I’d happily take it all in. I’m just taking everything in day by day [and] no expectations. I just want to be happy, [to have a] positive year. I want have a great 2011, and I wish the same for everyone else,” she added.

Angelica Panganiban stresses she has no nude photo circulating on the internet!

Hindi raw natatakot si Angelica Panganiban sa muling paglabas ng diumano’y nude photo niya. “Hindi naman ako matatakutin. Mataray ako, eh. Nabubuwisit ako,” ito ang reaksyong ng aktres sa paglabas ng nasabing picture na ngayon ay kumakalat sa Internet at cell phones.

Dagdag pa ni Angelica, matagal na raw ang nasabing isyu kaya’t nagtataka siya kung bakit muli na naman itong nahalungkat. Ang nagsabi raw sa kanya ay ang bestfriend ng kanyang boyfriend na si Derek Ramsay. Tinawagan naman daw siya ni Derek dahil daw nag-alala ang ama ni Derek para sa aktres.

Muli ay idiniin niya na hindi siya ang babae sa nude photo. “Ang ganda kaya ng body ko,” pagbibiro ng aktres. “Hindi ako ganun mag-bra. Baliktad siyang mag-bra. Flexible kaya ako, hello!”

Paliwanag pa ni Angelica kung siya man daw ang nasa larawan ay malalaman niya kung saan kinunan at kung sino ang kumuha ng picture pero hindi raw talaga siya iyon.

Itinanong ng host na si Charlene Gonzales kung sa tingin ba ni Angelica ay taga-showbiz ang nagpapakalat ng nasabing litrato. “Ayaw kong mag-isip ng pangit kasi masyado po akong happy,” buwelta ng dalaga.

Mensahe naman niya sa mga taong naninira sa kanya, “Mamatay kayo sa inggit dahil ganito ako kaganda,” natatawa niyang sagot. Masuwerte raw siya na mabigyan ng talento ng Diyos at mayroon daw siyang mga kaibigang tunay na nagmamahal sa kanya.

Kim Chiu denies replacing Anne Curtis in 'Showtime'!

MANILA, Philippines – Young actress Kim Chiu vehemently denied reports that she will permanently replace Anne Curtis as “Showtime” host.

In an interview with “Showbiz News Ngayon,” Chiu said her hosting stint in the noontime talent show is just temporary since Curtis is busy taping her upcoming television series.

“Hindi, hindi. Ewan ko, hindi ko alam eh," she said.

But she admitted that she enjoys hosting the show. "Masaya. Tawa lang ako ng tawa dito, hindi ko namamalayan na 3 p.m. na pala."

This is her second time to host "Showtime." “Hindi [ako magsasawa] kasi may napapasaya naman akong ibang tao...Sabi lang nila mag-enjoy daw ako, kung ano ako, yun lang ang ipapakita ko. Hindi naman ako [kinabahan sa segment na "sample"]. Joke lang naman lahat, hindi naman seryoso,” she said.

Meanwhile, the actress invited the public to continue watching her drama anthology titled “Your Song Presents: Kim”.

She revealed that she has already taped episodes with Gerald Anderson and Enchong Dee that will be shown in February.

She shares that she feels fortunate to be playing various roles in this anthology because it helps her hone her skills as an actress. “Marami na rin akong napagdaanang roles. Ang dami ko na rin nagawa [dito]. Masaya ako dun and thankful dahil unti-unting nasasanay ang pag-arte ko.”

Vhong Navarro: No Plans yet to get married to her Non-Showbiz GirlFriend!

MANILA, Philippines – Actor-comedian Vhong Navarro revealed he has no plans of tying the knot with his girlfriend anytime soon.

In an interview with “Showbiz News Ngayon,” Navarro disclosed that he wants to enjoy his status as a bachelor since last marriage was recently annulled.

“Wala muna [kaming plano magpakasal]. Katatapos lang ng anullment ko eh. Pahinga muna. Hindi naman trauma. Sabi nga ng lawyer ko eh kung magpapakasal ka, huwag muna. Advise lang naman kasi ang tagal ko rin namang hinintay eh,” he said.

The actor, however, maintained that he is happy with how his relationship with his current girlfriend is going. He has already introduced her to his children.

“Oo, nameet na siya [ng mga anak ko],” he said.

Navarro also revealed his plans for the upcoming Valentine’s Day.

“Aalis kami. Pupunta kaming Europe kasama ang kaibigan ko kasama rin siya,” he said.

Meanwhile, the “Showtime” host said he prefers his children to finish their studies first before entering the world of show business.

“’Yong anak ko kasi kay Bianca, minsan nag-VTR siya, TVC, lumalabas sa mga play. Kasi gusto ng bata. Ito yung bunso ko. Pero yung panganay ko, mahiyain eh...pero sa ngayon hanggat maaari iniiwasan ko talaga na huwag...kasi gusto ko muna makapagtapos ng pag-aaral ang mga bata bago pumasok [ng showbiz]. Kung gusto man nila, hindi ko sila aawatin. Suporta ako doon,” said Navarro.

Star Cinema’s kick off movie titled “Bulong” this year.

In an interview with “E-Live” on Saturday, Panganiban confessed that she was challenged to do this movie because she has been doing heavy drama ever since.

“Bago kasi yung horror sa akin. Dati nakagawa [na] ako [ng horror pero] ako yung multo. Mahirap siya kasi siyempre yung imagination mo, pinaglalaruan yung isip mo so mahirap na masaya,” she said.

But more than this, Panganiban disclosed that she considers herself lucky to be given the chance to work with actor comediane Vhong Navarro in the salvo movie.

“Thankful din ako. Maraming gustong makatrabaho si Vhong dahil sa generation niya, siya yung pinakamahusay na komedyante,” she said.

According to her, the comedy aspect of the film allowed her to be a little "laid back" which helped her in her acting.

“Ang maganda naman kasi sa Bulong nagko-comedy kami so kahit mukang tanga na yung reaksyon ko, okay lang,” she said breaking into laughter.

Panganiban was recently recognized as the Best Comedy Actress by the PMPC in its 24th Star Awards for TV.

Meanwhile, Navarro is also ecstatic about working with Panganiban.

“Talagang pinapangarap kong makatrabaho ka kasi nung unang trabaho natin, Separada pa. Ngayon dalaga ka na, nakatrabaho kita ulit...I’m happy na tinanggap mo yung project thank you at marami ako natutunan sa yo magaling kang artista, magaling kang komedyante. You’re perfect,” he said.

“Bulong” will be shown in theaters nationwide on February 2, 2011.  

Anne Curtis has no plans of getting married in secret!

Many psychics and astrologers say that 2011 is a good year for love and marriage. Some have even predicted that Anne Curtis might get married this year. The actress/TV host just laughed when told about this prediction. “If ever na mangyari ‘yun wala sa akin ang desisyon. Kung magpapakasal ako hinding hindi ko talaga itatago kasi it’s something you should be proud of. It’s something I will definitely be proud of. Pero sa ngayon kasi wala pa talagang mga ganyang plano. I’m too busy to even think about getting married.”

Anne continued to elude questions about her relationship with Erwan, a Fil-French model/businessman. After a string of highly publicized romances, Anne has finally decided to keep her love life out of the limelight. The only thing she shared was that despite her very busy schedule, she is very happy with their relationship. “Hindi mahirap pagsabayin ang love at career. Even if we’re from different careers hindi siya mahirap. Masaya. Very happy talaga ako.”

There are also rumors of a movie project starring Anne and ex-boyfriend Sam Milby. Their first and last big screen team up was last year’s Babe I Love You. According to Anne, she has yet to hear from ABS-CBN if she will do a movie with Sam again. For now she is busy shooting the film Who’s That Girl starring opposite Luis Manzano which is being directed by Wenn Deramas. “Ang alam ko lang aside from Who’s That Girl with Luis, may isa pa akong movie na gagawin very soon. Abangan ninyong lahat ‘yan.”
