Director Wenn Deramas plans on doing a spoof of ‘Avatar’ titled 'Ai-Ai Vatar: Ang original Blue Baby'!

Fresh from the box office success of Ang Tanging Ina Mo, Last Na ‘To, Wenn Deramas is hard at work to finish the movie Who’s That Girl? with Anne Curtis and Luis Manzano. Once he’s done with this movie, he said is scheduled to take his a vacation, though he must return by the end of January in time for the first taping day of Vice Ganda’s follow-up solo movie.

Direk Wenn also revealed to Push.com.ph during the victory party of Tanging Ina that he has plans of co-producing another movie with his favorite star, Comedy Concert Queen Ai-Ai De Las Alas. Based on the working title, the project sounded like a spoof of the Hollywood box office film Avatar. “May niluluto kami ni Ai-Ai, sana ‘wag mahilaw. Kami ang producer. Gagawin namin ang Ai-Ai Vatar: Ang original Blue Baby,” the director said with a smile. But he clarified that nothing is yet final regarding this movie venture.

For now, Direk Wenn said he continues to work hard so as to take advantage of the blessings that God is giving him. After his Best Director win last year at the Metro Manila Film Festival, Direk Wenn might also be in the running for the Box Office Director award. But he said he would rather leave everything up to the Lord. “Katulad ng hindi ko page-expect ng Best Director Award from MMFF, hindi pa rin ako nage-expect na ako na makukuha ko na talaga ‘yung Box Office Director award. Noong 2010 ay talagang naging napaka blessed ko. Kung ibibigay sa akin ‘yung Box Office Director award, hindi ko tatanggihan. Sana lang ‘wag na akong mamura ulit, ha ha ha!” referring to the criticisms he got for winning as MMFF Best Director.

However, Direk Wenn might face tough competition for the Box Office Director award in the person of Cathy Garcia-Molina who also helmed a blockbuster movie last year, My Amnesia Girl top-billed by John Lloyd Cruz and Toni Gonzaga. Direk Wenn immediately dismissed speculations of rivalry with Cathy who he considers a close friend. “Kung si Cathy ang manalo, papalakpak ako for her. Kung ako ang manalo, I’m sure papalakpak rin siya para sa akin. Ganun kami. Hindi ito showbiz, pero ang totoo kapag nagkakasama kami hindi namin pinag-uusapan ang trabaho. Bilang matagal na kaming magkasama sa industriya. Magkasama kami dito sa ABS-CBN at Star Cinema kaya nagrerespetuhan kami.”

Jason Abalos finally broke his silence about the issue that he’s courting Kim Chiu. As previously reported on Push.com.ph, the two became textmates at the height of Kim’s rift with perennial leading man Gerald Anderson. “Kulitan lang [yung sa text] Parang, ‘O, kumusta ka ngayong araw? Masaya ka ba?’ So ako, masaya lang kami. Kahit nga sa BBM (BlackBerry Messenger) meron kaming grupo na Tugs Tugs. Kapag araw-araw makikita mo kami sa taping, lahat kami nakatawa kasi ang kukulit namin dun e,” he said in an exclusive interview for his new show Agimat: Ang Mga Alamat ni Ramon Revilla Presents Bianong Bulag last January 21.

Their so-called showbiz posse which is better known as ‘Tugs Tugs’ was formed during Jason and Maja Salvador’s Nagsimula Sa Puso days. When Kim became part of their group, it paved the way for Jason to get to know her better. “Yung kay Kim, nagkataon lang na meron kaming grupo, kami nila Maja (Salvador), director Malou (Sevilla). Nagkataon lang siguro na hindi alam ng tao na may ganong grupo. Na kapag nakikita kami ng iba sa labas, nabibigyan kami ng issue. Pero hindi e, magkakaibigan kami.”

He also denied the rumors saying that they were seen holding hands during ASAP’s live episode in Baguio last November. “Hindi naman. Pagkatapos nung show, bumili lang kami ng mga pasalubong, kami nila Maja, marami kami.  Kumain lang kami saglit tapos umuwi na kami.”

When asked if he’s planning to court the young actress, Jason merely admitted that there are a lot of things that he admires about Kim. But at the same time, he understands that she has other priorities in mind right now. “Si Kim hinahangaan ko. Sobra siyang dedicated sa trabaho, focused siya sa career niya. Kung ano man ginagawa niya ngayon, sa tingin ko, nasa maganda siyang direksyon. Kasi sobrang iniingatan ko kung anong meron siya ngayon.”  
Jason already had the chance to work with Kim in the movie First Day High. But given a chance, he would love to be paired with her in Your Song Presents Kim or in other projects anytime soon. “Oo naman, bakit hindi? Hinihintay ko nga e [na mag-guest ako sa Your Song].” As a matter of fact, Jason already has an idea on the kind of characters that he would like them to portray on screen. “Ewan ko, kasi fan ako ng movie nila Robin Padilla at Regine Velasquez, yung ‘Kailangan Ko’y Ikaw.’ Sobrang gandang-ganda ako sa pelikula na yun. Nung pinanood ko yun naisip ko sana ako si Robin. Siguro mga ganong konsepto pwede,” he beamed.

Major Changes in Shoutout due of Very Low Ratings & Low Performances Level!

ABS-CBN's teen variety show "Shoutout" will have a major, major change starting this Monday, January 24, 2011.

From 4 groups, the teenmates are now just grouped into 3, with the PBB loveteams still intact except for TriVan (Tricia Santos and Ivan Dorschner) who are now in two separate groups.

Tricia is now in one group with Ann Li, Devon Seron and James Reid.

That just means, James will be dividing himself into three loveteams: JaeVon, JaCia and JamLi.

The new groupings were revealed on last Friday's episode after ABS-CBN gave the teenmates one more month to shape up and improve, 'coz if not, Shoutout will be cancelled.

From being a regular host, Enrique will now just be a member of one of the groups. According to Business Unit head Joyce Liquicia, a viewer made a complaint why Enrique is hosting the show. "Sino ba 'yung Enrique? Hindi namin siya kilala. Bakit naghohost na siya? Nag-workshop ba siya?" the viewer allegedly said about Enrique. But atleast he's still part of Shoutout, rather than being removed from the show.

Due to poor ratings according to Kantar Media/TNS, the show changed format. All their production numbers will be auditioned. Only the best will be remained. Another revelation is host Enrique Gil is ...no longer be a host and will undergo auditions and training. There will be new groupings as well.

Jewel Mische doesn’t mind being referred to as KC Concepcion’s look-alike!

After transferring to the Kapamilya network last month, Jewel Mische has been busy preparing for the projects in store for her in 2011, starting with Wansapanataym Presents Rod Santiago’s Buhawi Jack which also stars Gerald Anderson and Rap Fernandez as her leading men. The talent search winner turned actress said she is used to the local media saying that she has similar features as KC Concepcion. The pretty Buhawi Jack star said she met KC even before she decided to transfer to ABS-CBN. Now that they’re under the same network, Jewel said she has been spending more time with KC and the other Star Magic talents. “Naka-ilang acting workshops na rin kami together sa Star Magic. She’s nice. Pero during those times pareho kaming focused on acting,” she shared during the press con for Buhawi Jack last January 18 at the ABS-CBN compound

The pretty 20 year-old admitted she considers it a compliment to be likened to the eldest daughter of Megastar Sharon Cuneta. “It’s more on nahihiya ako. Nahihiya ako kasi ang ganda ganda niya,” she admitted. Jewel also explained that she is also trying to work hard for people to recognize her for herself and not as a KC lookalike. “I should not take that na hindi maganda. First of all, KC is KC. I know the time will come na mag-fe-fade din yung ganung tingin ng tao. Now I should only think of it as a positive thing because she’s beautiful and smart and all that so nahihiya lang talaga ako sa kanya when people say that,” she added.

Jewel also shared that she has a lot of celebrtiy crushes in the Kapamilya family. “Iba-iba yung what I find attractive sa mga crushes ko like Piolo (Pascual), Derek (Ramsay), and John Lloyd (Cruz). Lahat sila may kanya-kanyang charisma kasi,” she admitted.

Although she has decided to totally focus on her showbiz career, Jewel said pursuing her studies will always be her priority. “My education is something that I will never let go of. But right now, to be honest, it looks like medyo mahihirapan ako kasi yung schedule ko puno. ABS-CBN has so many great plans for me and it will demand time so yun yung kailangan ko pag-aralan, kung paano ko ma-ma-manage kasi it’s the first time na ganito ako ka-busy eh. It’s the first time na mukhang puno yung schedule ko araw-araw,” she explained.

Jewel believes that being able to be self-supporting is an important attribute for her. “You know, ever at a young age, I learned that when you want to do something, you have to earn it first. You have to be able to stand for yourself. It’s a principle I live by. In fact, hanggang ngayon hindi pa nga ako tapos because I spent for my own schooling. I spend for myself, I feed myself, and I send myself to school,” she said.

Aljur Abrenica is AMFA's Best Asian Model!

MANILA, Philippines - Aljur Abrenica’s dedication to achieve his hunky physique looks to have paid off as evidenced by his being named “Best Asian Model” at the 2011 Asia Model Festival Awards (AMFA).
The young actor beamed with pride while relating his excitement over receiving the honor.

“Hindi po lahat nabibigyan ng pagkakataon na ganyan eh. Marami pong artista dito sa industriya natin pero para mapansin ka sa ibang bansa, iba pong kategorya ‘yon, iba pong dating ‘yon,” the “StarStruck” winner related in an interview aired on GMA-7’s “24 Oras” on Jan. 19.

Even with his busy schedule, Aljur will attend the event, which will be held at the JW Marriott Hotel in Seoul, South Korea on Jan. 21. The Kapuso actor is set to leave the country on Jan. 20 and will return on the 22nd.
Apart from the international recognition, Aljur seems to have become a local icon in his own right since he bagged the role of the new “Machete.” His well-publicized preparations for his dream role seemed to have earned a following that even Aljur’s diet was dubbed as “Machete Diet,” and his body, the “Machete Body.”

“Labis ko pong ikinatutuwa ‘yan kapag naririnig ko na po sa iba-ibang tao na nagtatanong at tumatangkilik po sa ‘Machete Diet’ at ‘Machete Body,’” Aljur enthused.

The 20-year-old Aljur related how he attained his well-toned bod.

"Dala po ng diet. Kung magda-diet po kayo, lahat po rito, eh, magli-lean. Wala pong binago or ipinagawa sa akin. Kumbaga, mas naging healthy lang ako. Regular workout lang po 'yan at saka diet. Nag-take din po ako ng isa pang activity. Nag-swimming na rin po ako," he said in a recent press conference.

Aljur is not the sole Filipino representative to the event. According to a report on Abante Online, singer-actress Frencheska Farr, star of the musical film “Emir,” will be handed the Female Model Award. As seen in her recent tweets, the chanteuse has left for Korea on Jan. 19.

Suzuki Sadatsugu is said to be competing in the festival as well.

Last year, their fellow Kapuso stars Rhian Ramos and Victor Aliwalas received the Model Star awards.
As stated in the festival’s official website, the AMFA, an annual event participated by 13 countries, aims “to establish the role of models and promote harmony and exchange between Asian models.

Iloilo Dinagyang Festival 2011 Schedule of Activities!

Drum beats are back again in the streets. Dinagyang fever is right around the corner as the year begins. But is Dinagyang festival just all about the drums, costumes and merry makings?

During the fourth weekend of January, Dinagyang festival is celebrated in order to give tribute to the Christianization of the natives and show respect to Sto. Niño (Holy Child Jesus). It is a three-day event, the highlight of which is the 3^rd day, the Ati-ati contest. It is a colorful parade of costumes staging the Sto. Niño as the object of offerings and prayers. “Viva Señor Sto. Niño” is heard amidst the beating of the drums during the competition. This is an evidence of the Ilonggos’ great devotion to the child Jesus who is believed to be miraculous during famine and drought.

Dinagyang is not just any cultural event that wowed the whole country and the world, it is also considered as a religious evangelization.

Dinagyang comes from the Hiligaynon (TRIVIA: we call the people ILONGGO and the dialect is HILIGAYNON) word dagyang meaning make happy. The festival was formerly called Ati-atihan similar of the festival in Kalibo. According to history, it started when a replica of the image of Señor Sto. Niño was brought from Cebu to Iloilo (San Jose Parish in Libertad). From then on, Ilonggos became devotees and proclaimed the 4^th Sunday of January as His feast day since year 1968. The annual celebration is concluded by a nine-day Novena, an Ati-Ati contest and a fluvial procession on the last day.

It was the late Pacifico Sumagpao Sudario, a radio broadcaster who first used to name the festival when it commenced in 1977, to differentiate it from Kalibo’s Ati-Atihan.

The image of Sto. Niño is placed on a decorative boat in a fluvial procession early in the morning. It starts from the mouth of the Iloilo River at Fort San Pedro to the Iloilo Provincial Capitol found on the bank of the Iloilo River. The image is met by the Hermano-Hermana mayor devotees as well as the contesting tribes. The procession ends at San Jose Church where a high mass is celebrated. Opening ceremonies and contest proper follows shortly after the mass.

Dinagyang proved to be one of the best festivals in the country when it won Best Festival for a couple of years in a row.

Every year, tourist swarms the city to see Iloilo’s Finest and the Nation’s best: Dinagyang Festival.

John Lloyd Cruz gives her girlfriend Shaina an Expensive Watch!

MANILA, Philippines – Is it true that actor John Lloyd Cruz gave his girlfriend actress Shaina Magdayao an expensive gift?


Following the reports that Cruz gave his girlfriend a luxury bag as a gift for Christmas, speculations now thrive that the actor has given the actress a watch worth half a million pesos.

Talking to “Showbiz News Ngayon” on Tuesday, Cruz said the price of gifts he gives Magdayao does not really matter because it’s always the thought that counts.

“You know hindi na tayo kumportable na dini-disclose ang mga ganyang bagay. Hindi naman dapat nagma-matter [kung ano ang regalo]. No matter how big or small yung amoung ng binibigay mo, it’s really the thought na nagka-count dapat,” he said.

He said he does not have a plan yet on how he and his ladylove will celebrate Valentines day.

“Wala pa. Kung papalarin at bibigyan kami ng pagkakataon na magsama on that day, well and good. Kung hindi mangyari, okay lang din. Trabaho lang muna,” said Cruz.
He was also asked to comment on the budding romance of his former onscreen partner Bea Alonzo with actor Zanjoe Marudo.

“I couldn’t be happier for them. Lagi ko naman sinasabi kung saan ka masaya, mas doble yung saya namin bilang kaibigan mo para sa iyo,” he said.

Angelica Panganiban says she is willing to make peace with Claudine Barretto!

Angelica Panganiban explained that meeting her biological father for the very first time last 2010 was life-changing. She related that she now consistently communicates with her dad and that she had finally let go of burdens she had harbored ever since she was a kid. “Mas positive na dahil nga siguro wala na ‘yung bigat na dinadala ko noon pa, tsaka wala na akong itinatago sa mga tao. Masarap mabuhay,” she said at the press conference of her upcoming movie Bulong, which also stars Vhong Navarro and Bangs Garcia. The Star Cinema movie opens on February 2.

It seems like Angel really meant this because she said that she is ready to kiss and make up with Claudine Barretto with whom Angelica had a feud last year. “Bagong taon na at sa dami ng blessings na natatanggap ko, ayoko na ng negative. So masaya ang lahat, alam ko ‘yun din naman ang gusto niyang mangyari,” she explained.

However, she clarified that though she is ready to make peace with Claudine any time, she does not want to rush things. “Siyempre hopefully soon [magkabati na kami] pero kung… I mean hindi mo naman kasi pwedeng ipilit ang mga ganung bagay. Malay mo may mga taong hindi pa ready,” she added.

Angelica had her share of controversies last year and her relationship with boyfriend Derek Ramsay had been a constant target. Asked what issues that affected her, she answered, “Siyempre bilang babae sa industriya nakakagulat ‘yung sasabihin na buntis ka. ‘Yun ang mga nakakagulat kasi hihintayin mo pa… mga four months bago mo mapatunayan na hindi ka talaga buntis. Minsan aalis ka na ng bansa, nagpalaglag ka na kaagad. Bibyahe kami ni Derek magpapakasal na kami. ‘Yung mga ganun na paulit-ulit na lang. Hindi na nakapag-move on.”

Nevertheless, the Banana Split star still considers 2010 as her “favorite” year because so many blessings, such as hit projects, happened to her. Angel added that she is hoping that these blessings will continue to happen this 2011.

Claudine Barretto nagwala sa Tiendesitas!

 Last Saturday past 12am, Claudine Barretto was sighted in Tiendesitas together with Bobby Andrews and wife Bren. Galit na galit si Claudine, parang nakikipag-away habang kausap ang mag-asawa. Claudine was talking to somebody on her mobile phone. Napatingin sa kanya lahat ng andoon dahil full emote siya. She asked, "Andyan ka?!" She added after a short while, "Wala na raw dun. Umalis na tayo!" Sino kaya ang mahiwagang kausap ni Claudine sa madaling araw? Bakit siya super angry? At ano ang ginagawa ng tatlo sa Tiendesitas? Tuluy-tuloy na yata ang pagwawala ng ex ni Mark Anthony Fernandez at wife ni Raymart Santiago at nanay ni Santino!

Cherry Pie Picache filed a complaint against Baron Geisler for touching her Breasts!

Nagsampa ng reklamo si Cherry Pie Picache at ang kanyang manager na si Ed Instrella sa Philippine Artists Managers Inc. (PAMI) at sa ABS-CBN, laban sa character actor na si Baron Geisler.

Ayon sa balita, dinakma umano ni Baron ang dibdib ni Cherry Pie sa taping ng Noah, isang primetime show sa ABS-CBN, noong isang linggo.

Ang karakter ni Cherry Pie sa Noah ay si Rebecca, ang ina ng love interest ng pangunahing karakter ni Joem Bascon. Ginagampanan naman ni Baron si Caleb, isa sa mga kontrabida sa programa.

Lasing umano si Baron sa taping ng Noah nang mangyari ang insidente.

Sa simula raw ay nararamdaman lang ni Cherry Pie na iba na ang hipo ni Baron sa kanya. Ngunit hindi pa rin umano niya napigilan ang paghawak ng aktor sa kanyang dibdib bago matapos ang taping.

Dahil dito, nagalit agad si Cherry Pie at nagreklamo sa produksyon ng Noah, kaya agad namang pinatay ang karakter ni Baron sa show matapos ang insidente.

Ngayong gabi, January 17, nagreklamo na nga sila sa PAMI (Professional Artists Managers, Inc.) at management ng ABS-CBN "with the hope that similar incident will not happen again."

Ayon sa manager ni Baron na si Arnold Vegafria, hindi pa niya natatanggap ang kopya ang sulat ng manager ni Cherry Pie sa PAMI, kunsaan din siya kabilang.

Hindi na bago kay Baron ang ganitong akusasyon.

Noong May 21, 2009 ay binastos na rin umano ng aktor ang Kapuso actress na si Yasmien Kurdi sa isang taping. Nasa arraignment stage pa hanggang ngayon ang kasong acts of lasciviousness at unjust vexation na isinampa ni Yasmien laban kay Baron noong May 25, 2009.

Si Baron Geisler ay isang dramatic actor na nakatanggap na ng ilang acting awards mula sa pagganap niya sa ilang indie films tulad ng Jay (2008) at Donor (2010).

Sarah Geronimo: ‘Kung may galit ako o kung may sama ako ng loob, sasabihin ko sa ‘yo’

Nagsalita na ang Pop Star Princess na si Sarah Geronimo hinggil sa isyung kinasangkutan kabilang sina Cristine Reyes at Rayver Cruz. Inilabas ang panayam kay Sarah sa The Buzz kahapon at nagpaliwanag si Sarah hinggil sa kanyang kontrobersyal na komentong ‘Kapag magaling sumayaw ay habulin ng mga seksing babae.’ 

“Wala talaga po akong intensyon na manakit ng ibang tao, na mang-insulto ng pagkatao ng isang tao. ‘Di ko nakita sa mga magulang ko ‘yon. Nagulat lang po ako na magkakaganon,” depensa ni Sarah.

Sa isyu namang pagtira sa kanyang pagkatao na pakitang tao lamang daw ang kanyang pagkakaroon ng good image, ang sagot ng singer-actress, “Siguro ganun talaga. Lahat naman tayo may kanya-kanyang opinyon. May kanya-kanyang perception sa bawat tao at hindi mo naman ‘yun mako-control, eh na, ‘O, isipin mo mabait ako, mabait ako talaga,’” aniya.

Dagdag pa niya, hindi rin niya kayang makipag-plastikan sa ibang tao.  “Kung ganunman ‘yung pagtingin sa ‘yo ng isang tao, kailangan mong tanggapin at kailangan mo ring patunayan na mali ang pananaw mo sa akin. Hindi ako marunong mamlastik ng isang tao. Kung may galit ako o kung may sama ako ng loob, sasabihin ko sa ‘yo.”

Tanging pasasalamat naman ang naibulalas ng aktres sa mga nagtanggol sa kanya sa kontrobersya at kabilang na rito ang Megastar na si Sharon Cuneta. “Sobrang nakakahiya talaga at sobra ko pong na-appreciate ‘yung ginawa po ni Miss Sharon. Nagpa-interview pa siya hindi niya kailangang ma-involve dito.”

Tumanggi naman si Sarah na pag-usapan ang mismong nakaalitan niyang si Cristine.  

Mariin ding tumanggi ang aktres nang tanungin siya kung handa na ba siyang magmahal muli. Inamin niyang natatakot din siyang masaktan. “Siguro parte na rin po ‘yun pero hindi pa rin po kasi tamang panahon, ‘di ba? Medyo focus muna sa career. Magiging ready naman po ako ‘pag ready na rin po ‘yung tao sa paligid ko, kasi mahirap naman ‘yung magmahal pero hindi pa kaya ng mga magulang.”

Toni Gonzaga to Mariel Rodriguez: ‘I miss you’!

Maraming inihandang sorpresa kahapon ang The Buzz para sa pagdiriwang ni Toni Gonzaga ng kanyang 27th birthday, kung saan isa siya sa mga hosts ng programa. Pero maaaring ang pinakamalaking sorpresa na natanggap ni Toni ay pagbati mula sa kanyang dating kaibigan at nakaalitang si Mariel Rodriguez.

Habang ini-interview si Toni ng co-host na si Boy Abunda at biglang isiningit ng talent manager na mayroong text message na ipinadala si Mariel para kay Toni at binasa ito sa actress-host. “Happy, happy, happy, happy birthday, Toni! I’m very happy for you, Toni, dahil andami mong blessings na natatanggap. You deserve it because you really work hard. A lot have happened but one thing is for sure; you will always have a friend in me. It’s not the first time this had happened to us but I think our friendship is strong enough to surpass any obstacles. Mangingibabaw at mangingibabaw ang mabuti nating pagkakaibigan. Hindi lang kaibigan ang turing ko sa ‘yo. Isa kang kapatid, alam mo ‘yan. Happy, happy, happy birthday, Toni. My birthday wish for you is simple. I just hope you are happy, ‘yun lang. And Toni, ako nagpakasal na, ikaw naman ang next. He-he-he. Happy birthday, (from) Mariel.”

Lubos naman ang pasasalamat ni Toni sa kanyang “sister”. “Thank you for that message. It’s been a long time since huli tayong magkita and I’m looking forward na magkita tayo one of these days. Thank you for wishing me well kahit nung Christmas.” Ipinahayag pa ng multi-media star na pareho sila ng nararamdaman ng nakaalitang kaibigan. “Just like kung ano ‘yung nararamdaman mo kung anuman ‘yung nangyari noon at kung ano man ‘yung pinagdaanan natin, I will always treasure you in my heart. So I miss you.”

Dagdag pa ni Toni ang nangyari sa kanila ni Mariel ay nagpatibay lamang sa kanila bilang mga tao. At naging kontrobersyal man ang nangyaring awayan nila ay sinabi ni Toni na mananatiling malapit na kaibigan si Mariel. “I think siguro ‘yung mga ganitong pinagdadaanan o ganitong nararanasan namin, it helps us mature and really know who and what to value in life. Kaya that’s one thing siguro that we’re taking away from everything. We’ve been through (a lot), ako si Bianca (Gonzalez) at si Mariel.”

Barbie Forteza may Attitude Problem at Masama ang Ugali?!

Obvious na si Barbie Forteza ang naba-blind item na bagets na may attitude problem.

Ayon kasi sa blind item, umiyak ang teenager na dapat ay siya ang bida sa Alakdana, pero dahil sa may attitude problem nga raw ang bagets at hindi nag-attend ng audition, ibinigay sa iba ang role.

Ibinigay pang clue sa bagets na may attitude problem, na umano ito ay famous doll, so, walang iba kundi si Barbie Forteza ang tinutukoy sa blind item.

Ang isa pang isyu, nagalit daw si Bea Binene nang hindi sa kanya ibinigay ang role sa Alakdana. Mas hamak na bagay daw kasi sa teenager ang maging Alakdana dahil sa naglalaro siya ng Wushu, kumpara kay Louise delos Reyes na napili sa title role na magsisimula nang mapanood sa January 24 sa GMA7.

Pero kaagad naman itong itinanggi ni Bea dahil magkaibigan at close raw sila ni Louise mula nang magsama sila sa Tween Hearts.

Pagtatanggol naman ng program manager ng Alakdana sa mga isyung naglabasan: “Kay Louise (delos Reyes) po talaga na-assign ang Alakdana kaya hindi na kami nagpa-audition for the female role.”

So, hindi rin pala totoo dahil hindi nag-audition si Barbie kaya hindi sa kanya ibinigay ang role?

Anyway, tinanggal na si Louise sa Tween Hearts para makapag-concentrate sa kanyang first solo Kapuso drama series.
