ABS-CBN is all set to welcome talented little girls, aged 6 to 9, who can match or even beat the acting prowess of award-winning Kapamilya child wonder Xyriel Manabat and the world-class singing talent of top-caliber singer-actress-TV host and Popstar Sarah Geronimo. 


ABS-CBN will hold its ‘Kapamilya Little Star’ auditions for little girls who have exceptional gifts in singing and acting this Saturday (July 28) and Sunday (July 29), from 8am to 5pm, in the following sites: Manila (ABS-CBN Audience Entrance); Davao (ABS-CBN Shrine Hills Matina, Davao City); Cebu (Benedicto College Artist Hall A.S. Fortuna Mandaue, Cebu City); Dagupan (CSI Atrium, Dagupan City); and Bicol (LCCC Mall). All participants are required to submit their audition materials (CD of the minus one track) and two photos (one close-up and one whole body).

Slater Young joins Xyriel Manabat this Saturday on Wansapanataym 'Magic Shoes' Episode!

Pinoy Big Brother Unlimited big winner Slater Young joins Kapamilya child wonder Xyriel Manabat in setting a good example to the whole family this Saturday (June 23) in a special “Wansapanataym” episode that empowers kids to excel in everything that they do.

In the ‘Magic Shoes’ episode, Xyriel portrays the role of Bechay, a kid who doesn’t know how to dance. After her father died in an accident, Bechay tried on the shoes that she was supposed to give to her dad as a present when it suddenly fitted her feet and magically turned her into a great dancer. In order to help her mother in their financial problems, Bechay decided to use the shoes to win a dance contest. Can Bechay find enough confidence in herself to dance with her own feet when the magical shoes suddenly disappear?

Together with Xyriel and Slater in the episode are Susan Africa, Wowie de Guzman, Ciara Sotto, and Brenna Peñaflor. It is written by Arlene Tamayo and directed by Jon Villarin.

“Wansapanataym” is a part of ABS-CBN’s “Bida Best Kid” campaign launched recently that aims to empower children by encouraging them to become who they want to be and the best that they can be. It doesn’t only entertain and educate its young viewers with its values-oriented, child-friendly programs, but supports their dreams and aspirations as well.

Xyriel Manabat records her first single titled "Kuha Mo"!

Child wonder Xyriel Manabat is now venturing into recording.

The child behind the hit TV series "Agua Bendita" and "100 Days to Heaven," recently found herself recording her first single titled "Kuha Mo."

Manabat said the song "Kuha Mo" teaches children to do good things.

"Tungkol po ito sa mabuting asal at sa mga magagandang gawain," Manabat said.

Manabat said it was a dream come true for her to record her own song like her idol, Pop Star Princess Sarah Geronimo.

"Idol ko po si Ate Sarah Geronimo. Gusto ko po kasi siya maging katulad," Manabat said.

Before the interview ended, Manabat appealed to the public to purchase her CD and always listen to her song.

"Sana po lagi niyong pakikinggan ang ginawa kong kanta. Manood din po kayo lagi ng '100 Days to Heaven'," Manabat said.

Next week after Easter Sunday na ang kanilang last week, nagsimula ang Imortal nuong October 4, 2010 at ito ay magtatapos ngayong April 29, 2011 Friday with total of 148 episodes. Halos 6 months natin nasubaybayan ang paglalaban ng mga taong lobo at bampira at ang wagas na pag-iibigan nila Lia Ortega (Angel Locsin) at ni Mateo Rodriguez (John Lloyd Cruz). The storyline of 100 Days to Heaven:
100 Days to Heaven tells a story of Anna, a strict boss of The Toy Company (portrayed by Coney Reyes). Due to her bad past, she became a cold and unkind person. Employees of the company are afraid of her because of her strict and bossy attitude towards them and others. One evening, she was killed in a car accident and her soul went into a place in which there was nothing but white mist (it is unknown if she was in Heaven). She only heard the voice of God and the truth that she was dead. There, God gave her a chance to live her life again in 100 days in a form of a child (portrayed by Xyriel Manabat), found by Sophia, a policewoman (portrayed by Jodi Sta. Maria) and she later befriends Kevin (Louise Abuel). Her mission is to find the people that she had hurt and correct her wrong doings. - Wikipedia

Kakatapos lang ng 36th Metro Manila Film Festival Awards Night na ginanap sa Meralco Theater Last December 26, 2010.

Isa sa mga nanalo ay si Xyriel Manabat na nakilala nating bilang 'Momay' at 'Mica' sa Noah ng ABS-CBN. Si Xyriel ay nag uwi ng 'Best Child Performer' Award from the Movie 'Ang Tanging Ina: Last Na 'To' a Star Cinema Entry. Ito ang First Movie ni Xyriel at nanalo siya kaagad ng kanyang first Major Acting Award.

Tatlo ang nominated sa Best Child Performer Category at dalawa doon ay si Maliksi Morales for 'Dalaw' and Buboy Villar for 'Super Inday and the Golden Bibe' and the last was Xyriel Manabat.

Deserving Talaga na nanalo si Xyriel Manabat for Best Child Performer Award. She truly deserves it. 
Si Xyriel at Zaijian ang Wonder Child of 2010 and for the upcoming and future generations.

Nakakalungkot man... Hindi Nanalo at Nominated si Jillian Ward ng GMA-7 for the Movie 'Si Agimat at Si Enteng Kabisote'. From an Interview, Isa sa mga Christmas Wish ni Jillian ay ang maging Best Child Actress siya this Metro Manila Film Festival. Sapagkat, Ito ay hindi natupad. In Fact, Handa na at may Speech na siya kung sakali siya ay Nanalo. Hindi man din siya Nominated for the Best Child Performer. 

I think na Hindi naman talaga Deserving si Jillian Ward na maging Best Child Performer or to win any Major Awards. I believed na mas magaling at mas mahusay sila Zaijian Jaranilla at si Xyriel Manabat compared to Jillian.

Pero, Kahit hindi man nanalo si Jillian Ward ay ating ito makikita sa GMA-7 Upcoming Show na Captain Barbell this 2011.
