It's Showtime faces another controversy over 'Fliptop'! (VIDEO)

It’s Showtime is on the hot seat once again! During the Sine Mo To segment hosts Vice Ganda and Jhong Hilario went to the audience to look for a participant.

The two were able to find two teenagers who can do Flip Top or freestyle rapping.

To be fair with the hosts, the two audience members were reminded not to use obscene words.

The first participant then went on to rap:

"Fliptop ka nang Fliptop, wala ka namang laptop. Ito piso, pambili ng lollipop."

Then the unexpected happened.

"Di ka naman marunong mag-fliptop, ala ka pa laptop, ISUBO MO NA LANG T--- ko, gawin mong lollipop."

The studio became very silent after the incident, while Vice Ganda reprimanded the second contestant.

“Sinabi ko nang walang bad words!".

Then he was escorted outside.

The hosts then issued an apology after they returned from a commercial break.
For the moment, the MTRCB has yet to take action on the said incident.

Tulad ng amin inaasahan, ito ang magiging revamp ng 'Showtime '(talent show) pero this time ito ay magiging VARIETY show na with new studio, games, concept, gimmicks, atbp.


Ang inyong Showtime family na sina Vhong Navarro, Anne Curtis, Vice Ganda, Jugs & Teddy, Kuya Kim Atienza, Billy Crawford, at Karylle parin ang makakasama ninyo. May nadagdagan lang na sina Coleen Garcia, Ryan Bang at Jhong Hilario na parehong malalapit sa Showtime family at sa mga Madlang people.

Nung huling Sabado January 28, ginanap ng Showtime ang kanilang Thank you episode. Para pasalamatan, muling ipakita, at bigyang tanaw ang mga nangyari sa kanilang show for the last 2 years as a Talent show kasama na dyan ang naging Hurados nila, International trips (California and Dubai), mga grand winners (XB Gensan, etc.), mga madlang people, at marami pang iba.

Azklas member Neil Etheridge is Vice Ganda's new 'Apple of the Eye'!

MANILA, Philippines - "Showtime" resident judge Vice Ganda expressed happiness over his blossoming friendship with Azkals goalkeeper Neil Etheridge.

"Ganda ko talaga! Si Phil (Younghusband) kay Angel Locsin tapos si Neil naman sa akin! Natapakan niyo na yata ‘yung hair ko diyan! Ha ha ha! Kapag pinag-uusapan si Neil Etheridge nagagandahan talaga ako sa sarili ko. Siguro nabibwisit na sa akin ‘yung mga tao sa sobrang pagka-feelingera ko," Vice Ganda said during the contract signing for his hit comedy talk show "Gandang Gabi Vice!" on Wednesday.

Vice Ganda shared that he came to know Etheridge via the microblogging site Twitter.

"Nagsimula sa Twitter ‘yan. One day bago siya pumunta ng practice nakanood siya ng 'Showtime'. E nasiyahan siya so nag-tweet siya. Ako naman nag-thank you. Nag-tweet uli siya. 'Di na ako nag-tweet back kasi baka kapag hindi na siya sumagot, masasaktan lang ako. Aasa lang ako," Vice Ganda said.

He said that it was destiny when he personally met the football player at Rufa Mae Quinto's party.

"That night, party ni Rufa Mae, dumating si Neil. Naloka siya kasi ang kasama ko si Jon Avila. Nagyaya si Jon na umalis na at lumipat ng place. Sabi ko sandali lang tatapusin ko lang ‘yung iniinom ko. Pero ang totoo, ayoko pang umalis kasi nandiyan si Neil. Pero hindi ko siya tiningnan kasi baka hindi rin niya ako pansinin kasi hindi naman niya ako kilala. Maya-maya siya na ‘yung lumapit. Sabi niya, ‘Hey! We were just tweeting this morning.’ Chumika siya sa akin. Ang bait niya," he added.

Vice Ganda said he saw Etheridge again during the taping of ABS-CBN's flag raising ceremony last Friday.

"Nakita ko agad si Neil. Katabi ko si Anne (Curtis), inaasar na niya ako. Sabi ko kay Anne, dedma na, ‘wag na niya akong lokohin kasi baka hindi na niya ako maalala, mapahiya lang ako. Hindi talaga ako tumitingin sa kanya. Sabi ni Anne nakatingin daw sa akin. Ayoko maniwala. Pero nakita ko sa peripheral (vision) ko na nakatingin nga siya sa akin. Eeeeeee!" Vice Ganda said.

The comedian said he found out how humble the football player was when Etheridge sent him a tweet after the ceremony.

The tweet was: "@vicegandako sorry I never got to say hi at abs, was trying to get hold of you at the end, but then I got dragged off, sorry."

With Etheridge's tweet, Vice Ganda got the courage to invite him to grace 'Showtime'. Etheridge then agreed and even dragged other members of Azkals to visit 'Showtime'.

"Sabi ko, 'I'm still here in ABS-CBN, if you want you can drop by at the 'Showtime' studio.’ Tapos hiningi na niya ‘yung BBM ko. Pupunta raw siya sa 'Showtime' kasama ‘yung ibang Azkals," the host said.

Etheridge made good on his promise and the Azkals guested on "Showtime."

"Ang bait niya. Dedma lang (siya) kung bading ka o ano man. Nakikipag-friends siya kahit kanino. Totoong lalaki nga. Kaya kinikilig ako hanggang ngayon," Vice Ganda added.

Asked if he considers Etheridge as one of his boys, Vice Ganda replied: "He’s one of the many boys na nakakapagpakilig sa akin."

Vice Ganda is being romantically linked to Paolo Hubalde, Jon Avila, Kean Cipriano, and Xian Lim.

FLOP show ni Edu Manzano na 'Family Feud' gigibain na! 'Temptation of Wife' replay ipapalit!

Pagkatapos ng kanyang FLOP show last year 2010 na 'Asar Talo: Lahat Panalo'. Ngayon naman this 2011, bumalik ulit siya via 'Family Feud: The Showdown Edition' na nag premiere lang last April 4. 2011.

Unfortunately, hindi ulit pumatok ang kanyang bagong programa sa mga Madlang People. From low ratings and popularism... considered nanaman ang kanyang programa na FLOP! (for the second time) haha!

Dahil dyan, wala ng magagawa ang GMA-7 kundi i-cancel ang programa at palitan ito ng panibago. Family Feud is set to end this June 3. At ang 'Temptation of Wife'- (one of GMA-7's popular koreanovela this 2011 na naging hit at panalo sa ratings) replay naman ang ipapalit at itatapat sa 'Showtime'. Syempre gagamiting ng GMA-7 ang alas na programa nila para manalo lang sa ratings.

Well, hindi na bago ito sa ating mga paningin. Kung ang Queen of all media na si Kris Aquino na nag guest dati sa Showtime Season 2 last December 2010 'Christmas Special' ay napagalitan at napagsabihan ng management and director dahil sa mababa masyadong puntos na binigay sa isa sa mga contestants. Eh, ano pa kaya ito kay Judge Xian Lim?

Si Xian Lim ay ang nag-iisang at may pinakakamamabang gradong ibinigay sa history ng Showtime. At hindi man ikinorrect ng staff or even ng management? Baka mali lang ang pindot man lang? Or tactic nila ito para bumaba ang score at para maiwasan ang tie? or so? But, ONE point really? eh kung si Vice Ganda nga ang pinagbabatayang score sa grand finals ay 5 or 6. ONE pa kaya?

Even though hindi talaga mananalo ang 'Street Noise', Showtime still and should follow the rules. Rules are rules. Where is the Score credibility and professionalism? Hindi lang pindot ng pindot at kung ano ang maisip ay yun na lang ang pipindutin. Lahat ng score dapat binabase from the performance.

Even though, hindi nakaka affect ang score na 'ONE' point sa grupong 'Street Noise' sa pagkapanalo, This is still need to be CORRECTED PROPERLY AND IN ORDER.

That is just UNPROFESSIONAL-ISM AND UNETHICAL!

Showtime Season 3 Grand Champion is 'TRUE COLORS' w/ average score of 9.92!

Showtime Season 3 aka 'Showtime All- Star Baranggayan' Grand Champion is 'TRUE COLORS'. The group are from General Santos in Mindanao which also same the place where the Showtime Season 1 Grand Champion 'XB Gensan' come from.

They will take home with total of P2 million pesos. P1 million is from ABS-CBN and P1 million is from Natashia (sponsor).

True Colors

The group got with total of 238 points out of  the 24 judges.
'True Colors' have an average score of 9. 916 and rounded up with 9.92

Congratulations!

Meanwhile, Brgy. Poblacion Guihulngan, Negros Oriental is the winner for 'Best Intro'. They will take home (the Barangay) with total of P100,000 pesos.

If you didn't know, They WERE PICKED as the winner because of the Negros Dance Collective.
From our reliable inside source, Pinili sila para narin hindi madismaydo ang mga taga Negros. Marami talaga na ang nagsasabi at nag tweet na mahusay, magaling, at deserving talaga ang taga Negros aka Negros Dance Collective na manalo sa competition. And some were even disappointed. Negros Dance Collective was trending in the Philippines and even WORLDWIDE in social networking Twitter. That means na talaga mahusay sila. We saw the performance and they did deserve it.

Georgina Wilson evicted from 'Showtime' after 7 weeks!

The results last Saturday (March 12, 2011) was pretty intense. It was shocking that Georgina Wilson is one  that got evicted along with Jason Abalos. She got an audience votes 14.31% percentage and text votes 43.07% percentage with total of 28.69% percentage . Normally this past few weeks, Ryan Bang is one that have the highest text votes and lowest audience votes. But, last week it was changed that Georgina Wilson have the highest text votes and second her is Ryan Bang.

Georgina became a showtime hurado last January 24, 2011 and ended to March 12, 2011 with total of 7 consecutive weeks. As of today, Georgina currently ranked #7 as one of the longest hurado in showtime with  tie to Dimples Romana which also have 7 weeks.

Lastly, it was nice to see her in showtime and following her on twitter!

Vhong Navarro going to take a 2 weeks Break on 'Showtime'!

MANILA, Philippines - Actor-comedian Vhong Navarro is taking a short break from ABS-CBN's hit morning noontime show "Showtime."

"Sa Valentine's kasi magbabakasyon ako kasama ang aking friends kaya two weeks akong mawawala. Sana sa pagbalik ko nandiyan pa din kayo na sumusuporta sa akin. Magpapahinga lang naman ako," Navarro told Showbiz News Ngayon.

Navarro and his friends will spend their short vacation abroad. Rumor has it that the actor-comedian’s non-showbiz girlfriend will join the group.

In the same interview, Navarro also expressed his support to ABS-CBN's newest noontime show, "Happy Yipee Yehey!"

"Nakasuporta tayo sa bagong papalit. At the same time, at least ngayon ay babalik na tayo sa dating timeslot ng ‘Showtime’ kasi yon naman talaga dapat ang oras natin,” he said.

Navarro also extended his appreciation to all his supporters and people who watched his comedy-horror film "Bulong," with Angelica Panganiban as his leading lady.

'Showtime' Returns to it's 10:30 a.m.Timeslot Starting February 12, 2011

Anne Curtis was not surprised when she and the rest of the “Showtime” team heard that their program will return to its original timeslot - which is 10:30 a.m. - when “Happy, Yipee, Yehey” premieres on Saturday at 12 p.m.

“We knew that from the beginning,” explained Curtis.

The talent-search show was placed in the noontime slot after “Pilipinas Win na Win” went off air on December 31, 2010.

“They asked ‘Showtime’ very quickly at the end of last year to be noontime for 3 hours, so naloka kami," she said. "We took on the challenge given us, but we were told naman back in December that it will only going to be until February, so it’s okay. Fight kami dyan.”

The Filipino-Australian shared that it was challenging for them to keep the show running for 3 hours every episode in a noontime slot.

Rather than being sad, Curtis is relieved that “Showtime” will return to its morning timeslot beginning Saturday.

“Kasi at least you know we’re back on the timeslot of young audience. Kasi if you’ve noticed the audience in ‘Showtime,’ they’re all young, they’re students. Gusto nila nakakanood muna sila ng ‘Showtime’ and then they go to school, kaya minsan naka-uniform sila [kapag pumupunta ng show],” she said.

She also noted that many students had protested after “Showtime” took the noontime slot. On Twitter, they complained that they could not watch the show anymore because they needed to be in school during the new timeslot.

Aside from “Showtime” and her endorsements nowadays, Curtis is busy promoting her new teleserye, titled “Green Rose,” with Jericho Rosales and Jake Cuenca and a movie with Luis Manzano, “Who’s That Girl.”

“I don’t think I could ask for anything more,” said Curtis, referring to her career.

“But if there is something more to happen, then I’d happily take it all in. I’m just taking everything in day by day [and] no expectations. I just want to be happy, [to have a] positive year. I want have a great 2011, and I wish the same for everyone else,” she added.

Nagdagsaan kasi ang mga magcoconcert na foreign artists at pinag-gitnaan pa ko ng Justin Bieber at Bruno Mars. Kaloka baka wala nang bumili ng ticket ko kawawa naman ako. Nakakalungkot dahil sa pagdagsa ng mga foreign acts ...na yan baka wala nang show ng mga local artists ang kumita."

Vice Ganda prepares & started shooting his 'Private Benjamin' Movie!

After the box-office success of his launching movie “Petrang Kabayo,” Vice Ganda bags another title role for the big screen.

“Private Benjamin” is the working title of Vice Ganda‘s second movie being produced by Viva Films. His launching movie “Petrang Kabayo” raked in more than P100 million at the box-office last year making him the gay superstar of the country.

According to reports, one of his leading men in the film is basketball player Paolo Hubalde. Paolo became the apple of Vice’s eye when the hunk served as guest judge in Showtime. This prompted Vice to recommend Paolo to become one of his leading men in his next film and according to him, Viva Films granted his wish.

Also in the movie is veteran comedian Jimmy Santos who will play the role of his father.

Anne Curtis on rumored rivalry with Marian Rivera: ‘Hindi ko siya pinalitan in all fairness’!

Anne Curtis couldn’t help but feel overwhelmed by her grand launch as the newest celebrity endorser of SM Residences at the SMDC (SM Development Corporation) Grand Showroom last January 27. Not only did she arrive in a Rolls Royce, but she also got to wear a stunning Francis Libiran gown as she dramatically descended a flight of stairs before she was serenaded by Christian Bautista on stage. “I think this is the biggest welcome I had in my career (laughs). Super grand—from the gowns, the car, the arrival, the paparazzi, the cameras… I never felt like this before. As Mr. Henry Sy Jr. said, a star is born and that’s exactly how I felt tonight,” she said in an interview with the local press.

Anne was definitely given special treatment, fit for a Hollywood star, leaving a lot of people wondering if this would cause conflict between her and Marian Rivera whom she reportedly replaced as SMDC’s top image model. Rumor has it that Marian’s contract was no longer renewed because of the negative publicity concerning her alleged attitude problem, which may reflect on the company’s image. To which Anne replied, “Hindi ko siya pinalitan in all fairness, I was just added to the SMDC family. I think to use replacement is such a… I don’t think it’s a word we should use because I did not naman replace her.”

Despite the intrigues being thrown their way, Anne stressed that there’s no bad blood between her and Marian. “Yeah, kami we’re fine naman. There has never been an issue so I don’t think anyone else should make an issue out of it. I think all of us from the industry, anything that comes our way, we all just consider it a blessing to us because things aren’t just handed to us. We all work for it. So I think it’s only the people who aren’t in the industry who try to make an issue out of it.”

When told that she could possibly be the next biggest endorser in the country, all Anne could say was that she’d try her best to fulfill what’s expected of her. “Of course there's pressure. I have big shoes to fill in actually because she is and still is the number one endorser in the Philippines, and she's the one who set the standards for SMDC residences. So I have big shoes to fill and I hope I can meet the expectations of others as well.”
