ABS-CBN premieres another top-caliber drama about two women whose bond of sisterhood will be challenged when they fall for only one man this Monday (July 9) in “Kahit Puso’y Masugatan.”

Under the direction of blockbuster director and master story teller Wenn Deramas, “Kahit Puso’y Masugatan” marks the first ever teleserye of world-class actress Iza Calzado as a Kapamilya as well as the anticipated television comeback of heiress of drama Andi Eigenmann.

The show also paves the way for the momentous team up of Iza and Andi with two of the most sought after leading men in showbiz— Gabby Concepcion and Jake Cuenca. Follow the story of Andrea (Iza) and Veronica (Andy), two different women brought together by fate. In their childhood years, they will learn to love and care for each other like real sisters. The two are inseparable until unfortunate circumstances will set them apart.

Through time, Andrea grew up to be a patient but determined young lady who will do everything for her loved ones, while Veronica turned out to be possesive with her life. Thus, she will do everything she can in her power to get what she wants, including the man she truly loves.

When their paths meet again after so many years, the bonds of sisterhood they used to share will be put to test as they fall in love with the same man, Rafael (Jake).

As if things weren’t complicated enough as it is, Rafael faces a dilemma of his own as his wealthy dad, Miguel (Gabby), falls for Andrea and even asks her hand in marriage. How will Andrea and Veronica fix their relationship as sisters? Will Andrea let go of Rafael to give way for her little sister Veronica? Will Rafael give Veronica a chance after finding out about his dad’s feelings for Andrea? Can Miguel risk destroying his bond with his very own son for the woman who taught him how to love again?

Also included in the powerhouse cast are veteran actors Jacklyn Jose, Malou De Guzman, Mylene Dizon, Assunta De Rossi, Cris Villanueva, DJ Durano, Mickey Ferriols, and Barbara Perez.

"THE MOMMY RETURNS" is a family comedy-horror movie about a mother, Ruby (POKWANG) who dies right on the day of her 25th wedding anniversary with gorgeous husband, William (GABBY CONCEPCION). With her untimely death, she is temporarily trapped in PURGA (short for Purgatory) with its guardian, Dyoga (JOHN LAPUS, ang diyosa ng purga) and the pesky Manny, the chicken pet of San Pedro.

 Enter CATHERINE (RUFFA GUTTIEREZ) - a younger, fresher, and much, much prettier woman who comes into the life of William. When she threatens to take Ruby's place as mother to her three beloved children (KIRAY, GERALD PESIGAN and JILLIAN WARD), hell (er, purgatory) breaks loose as Ruby escapes back to earth as a ghost to scare and drive Catherine out of the family she left behind!

Gabby Concepcion approves of Piolo-KC relationship!

Drama actor Gabby Concepcion gave his two thumbs up on the relationship of his daughter KC Concepcion with hunk actor Piolo Pascual.

In an interview with ABS-CBN News during the press conference of his latest endorsement, Gabby revealed that KC has been sharing stories about Pascual to him. He also said that he only has good words for the boyfriend of his daughter.

“Nakukuwento naman niya na nagkakasundo sila. Tinatanong niya nga ako how he is, sabi ko hindi ko kakilala si Piolo, ikaw lang ang makakasagot niyan. Pero okay naman siya, he goes to mass. Wala akong masasabi kay Piolo kundi puro kabutihan,” he said.

Gabby, however, reminded KC that relationships are not always about happiness. He said though that he will be behind her whatever she decides on.

“Baka may negative din diyan, abangan mo iyon. Be strong. Life is not a bed of roses. Just be ready kasi everybody is susceptible to intrigues. But be happy sabi ko. Whatever you decide, I’ll be there behind you,” Gabby advised.

Meanwhile, Gabby was not able to evade members of media when was asked for a comment about his former wife Sharon Cuneta losing weight in preparation for her upcoming show “The Biggest Loser.”

“Noong araw ko pa sinasabi talaga, kung sino man mag-ho-host niyan, ang gandang example. Hindi ko naman akalain na si Sharon pala gagawa. And how she lost or how she gained weight. Ang dami possibilities na magiging host ng show na iyan and now it’s Sharon. It’s good for her,” he said.

Asked if he’s still willing to do a movie with Cuneta, he said: “Oo, okay naman sa akin, maski noong araw eh. It’s just a matter of time. Maganda iyong light, medyo comedy ng konti. Sabi ko stand by lang kayo, save the best for last.”

Gabby and Cuneta last worked together as a pair in 1992 in the movie “Tayong Dalawa.”

Gabby Concepcion, KC Concepcion and Jericho Rosales have more than one reason to be happy and proud of their movie, I’ll Be There. First, the overwhelming response of fans on its premiere night; second, that it’s Rated B by the Cinema Evaluation Board.
Echo states, “For me, it’s one of the most important movies of 2010. Family oriented talaga and tagos sa puso talaga ang tema ng pelikula na ‘to”
Gabby also shares, “This movie was such a thrill. It’s so exciting. You never know what to expect.”
Director Maryo J. delos Reyes has only positive words to describe his filming experience with the movie’s cast. “KC and Gabby, panalo; si Echo and the rest of the cast, I’m very, very happy. Gumaan ang trabaho ko because of them. Na-communicate ko kung anong gusto kong mangyari. They did a very good job. “
But the fans aren’t the only ones to give the cast their full support. Kapamilya stars Sam Milby, Gerald Anderson, Coco Martin and Christian Bautista were also spotted in the movie’s premiere.

Gabby Concepcion takes a break from his busy calendar to bring joy to his fans by way of "Gabby’ng K Ganda". The show, according to Gabby, will not only be a musical treat but a comic one at that. Gabby said he just loves it when his audience participates. He sees it as a joyous celebration with fans who have helped with his showbiz comeback. “I will make the audience participate for this concert. It’s usual when somebody sings in front of people watching all throughout kaya iibahin ko for this one. We’re going to have lots of fun.” Those who have been in any of his live shows describe him as funny, sweet, and captivating.

Fans got a chance to speak with Gabby Concepcion via a chat on ABS-CBN.com last Friday afternoon, July 24. “Oo nga e pero nag-enjoy ako. Ang sarap ng feeling na makausap ang mga Kapamilya fans all over the world dahil nung nasa ibang bansa ako, naramdaman ko din yung kalungkutan e. So yung makapag-communicate ka ng ganito sa kahit na anong oras na gusto mo is one of the best things na pwedeng mangyari. I’m happy na naimbitahan ako para pasayahin ang mga kababayan natin kahit papaano,” he said in an interview with ABS-CBN.com right after the said event.

Gabby was open to answering questions about KC Concepcion reportedly being courted by Piolo Pascual. Though he and his daughter don’t get to see each other often, he was aware of the fact that Piolo has been courting her again. “That’s old news e, kalat na kalat na ‘yan. Siyempre we will not deny that dahil alangan namang ako lang ang ‘di nakakaalam.” When asked if he approves of the match, Gabby was quick to say yes just like Sharon Cuneta who has been very vocal about wanting Piolo to be KC’s future husband. “Oo naman, mabait naman siya (Piolo). Siyempre sino ba naman ang hindi dahil ang alam natin sa kanya okay siya. Sana nga yung friendship nila mas tumibay pa and I hope tuloy-tuloy yung friendship nila,” he replied.

But if he was to give KC an advice about relationships, the ‘80s matinee idol stressed that she should not rush into anything that she’s not yet ready for. “Sabi nga nila enjoy it while it lasts. But at the same time, be careful with your emotions. You have to control your emotions dahil baka ikaw lang ang masaktan. But whatever it is, siyempre nagkasama kayo because of circumstances, you have to be mature enough to accept what comes with that responsibility. So ganon lang, bumabalik ulit sa take it slow at saka think before you act.”

The dashing star of the upcoming teleserye Dahil May Isang Ikaw was also relieved to know that KC recently assured Sharon that she has no plans to get married anytime soon even if her suitor is the country’s ultimate heartthrob. “O ‘di good! Because I don’t want to be a young lolo!” he laughed. “Hindi… Basta’t masaya ang anak ko masaya na din ako. Hindi ko naman buhay ‘yan e. Ang importante lang siyempre kung saan siya masaya otherwise kapag mabigat ang dibdib niya mabigat din ang dibdib mo, ganun lang naman ‘yan,” he finally stated
