It’s that time of the year again when Pinoys from across the globe are at a standstill – worries are forgotten, feelings of sadness and loneliness fade away, replaced by excitement and anticipation for one big event. It’s not Christmas, and he isn’t Santa Claus, but Manny Pacquiao sure packs a wallop every time he enters the ring. The Filipino Channel (TFC) will once again be right in the center of the action as the “Pambansang Kamao” takes to the ring once again. Broadcasting live from Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas, TFC will once again give Global Pinoys premier access to Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao’s fight as he stakes his claim for a historic eighth world championship when he takes on Antonio Margarito on November 13 (November 14, Manila time).

TFC subscribers from the Middle East, Europe and Australia will have the special opportunity of watching the Pacquiao-Margarito fight for the vacant WBC Super Welterweight title, as it happens with veteran sportscaster Ronnie Nathanielsz providing ringside analysis with fellow boxing aficionado Ed Tolentino. “Watching Manny in action is always exciting,” says ABS-CBN Global Content Head Ned Legaspi. “We at TFC feel however that having a blow-by-blow account in our native tongue will make the fight resonate even more with our Kapamilyas.”

The legend of Manny Pacquiao has done nothing but continue to grow over the past few years. Even as he has taken down the likes of Oscar dela Hoya, Erik Morales, Juan Manuel Marquez and Miguel Cotto, TFC has been there to bring his fights to as many Filipinos as possible worldwide.

Margarito has a lot at stake as he‘s aching to rebuild his reputation that has been tarnished by controversy after he used illegal substances in his boxing gloves. Now, he sees defeating the man credited in international boxing circles as the pound-for-pound best fighter alive today as his one big opportunity to return to the top of the mountain.

Hataw sa taas ng rating ang pagiging co-host ni Shalani Soledad sa programang Willing Willie ni Willie Revillame. Buong pusong tinanggap ng masang Pinoy ang dalaga sa unang araw pa lang nito sa ere. Maganda ang naging feedback sa tandem ng dalawa kahit medyo nangangapa pa ang dalaga. Kita namang may chemistry sina Willie at Shalani, ang lakas ng impact sa mga manonood maging sa loob ng studio.

Heart & Soul kung i-describe ni Willie ang team-up nila ni Shalani sa show. Bukod sa pagiging co-host ng Konsehala, may segment pa siyang kakatok sa bahay-bahay para mabiyayaan ang mga kapatid natin na nangangailangan ng tulong.

Sa mga nang-iintriga kay Shalani, kaya raw tinanggap nito ang offer dahil sa milyones na binayad sa kanya ng network.

“Yung sincerity ng offer kaya ko po tinanggap na maging co-host ni Willie,” simpleng sagot ni Shalani.
Binigyang linaw ni Willie ang tungkol sa issue. Nang tanggapin ni Shalani ang offer, hindi raw nagtanong ang dalaga kung magkano ang magiging talent fee nito sa nasabing show. Hindi nga raw nila napag-usapan ang tungkol dito. Ang gusto lang ni Shalani hawak kamay sila ni Willie na makapagbigay-saya sa publiko at makatulong sa mga mahihirap.

Ang sabi lang daw ng dalaga, “Bagay ba ako sa programa?” Say naman ni Willie, “Bagay na bagay ka sa programa.”

May kontra bang pinirmahan si Shalani sa TV5?

“Depende kay Shalani, it’s her call kung gusto niyang magkontrata for assurance. Ang kontrata naman kapag ayaw mo, ayaw ng isa sa inyo parang bale wala rin. Kasi kung hindi ka na masaya, may kontrata nga ako sa ‘yo hindi na ako masaya, ano ang gagawin mo? Hindi mo na ako pagtratrabahuhin, paano na ang buhay ko?”

Ngayong celebrity nang matatawag si Shalani, nakalinya na ang product endorsements na gagawin niya plus TV commercial. Bago pumutok ang balita tungkol sa pagiging co-host ng ex-girlfriend ni PNoy. Naunang napabalita na kinukuha ng controversial TV host si Venus Raj para maging co-host niya sa show. Ano na nga ba ang nangyari?

“Plano ko kasi masa rin si Venus, may negotiation sila ni Boss Vic del Rosario pero may commitment pa sa Bb. Pilipinas. May mga schedule pa siya. Mahirap pilitin ang isang bagay. If you notice, si Shalani walang plano. Just like that, tapos na. Monday heto na siya. I think it’s God’s will. Sa ngayon mahirap pa makasama si Venus dahil may one year commitment pa siya,” paliwanag ng TV host/actor.

Masayang ibinalita rin ni Willie na magkakaroon ng show abroad ang Willing Willie sa Canada.

Naka-schedule kasi ‘yung international ng TV5 na magsisimula ng January 2011. Mapapanood na sa internet ang nasabing program. Magtu-tour muna ang grupo sa buong Pilipinas bago sila umikot sa buong mundo next year.

Willie Revillame, niligawan ang buong pamilya ni Shalani Soledad!!

MAINIT ANG NAGING pagtanggap ng lahat kay Shalani Soledad nang i-launch siya last Monday bilang co-host ni Willie Revillame sa Willing Willie. Kahit medyo halatang kabado at nangangapa dahil first time lang sumabak sa hosting, cute silang tingnan ni Willie bilang tandem.

Extreme opposite nga sila kung tutuusin. Si Willie, maharot at madaldal samantalang si Shalani, ubod nang hinhin na halos ‘di makabasag-pinggan. Gano’n pa man, may chemistry nga sila.
Bakit nga ba si Shalani ang napili ni Willie na kuning co-host para sa show niya sa TV5? Ano ang nagustuhan niya sa dalaga?

“’Yong pagkatao niya,” kaagad na sagot ng TV host. “Para siyang si Lady Diana, eh. Tapos at the same time, simple siya.  Wala kang maririnig sa kanya. Ang tingin ko, magiging asset siya sa programa. Kasi maganda ang purpose niya sa buhay kaya maganda siyang maging kasama.

“Kumbaga parang ano ‘yan, eh… dapat merong heart and soul ang programa. I could be the soul and she could be the heart. Kasi, hindi ko naman magagampanang lahat ito, eh. Dapat may katulong din akong isang tao na… kasi may isang segment din ako na naisip para sa kanya na kakatok sa bahay ng isang taong talagang walang-wala na pagbukas ng bahay, marami siyang sorpresa.

“Okey siya. Actually bago namin siya i-launch no’ng Monday (November 8), Friday (November 5) kami nag-rehearse, at okey naman. Nagulat nga ako dahil no’ng launch na niya, naka-deliver naman siya nang maayos. Sabi ko nga, si Shalani ba ‘yan? Iba na kasi kumpara no’ng nagri-rehearse pa lang kami.”

Nakakagulat nga ang biglang pagsabak ni Shalani sa larangan ng TV hosting. Marami ang nagtataka kung paanong ang isang simple at ni hindi sanay na humarap sa camera ay napapayag ni Willie na maging co-host niya. Ano nga ba ang naging convincing factor?

“Wala. ‘Yong pagiging totoo lang. Sabi ko nga sa kanya… tinanong ko lang siya, gusto mo bang makagawa ng kabutihan?  Tulungan mo ako. Kasi gusto kong makagawa ng mabuti. Na… kung sincere ka, ‘eto ang programang puwedeng makatulong sa kapwa.

“Actually, nag-meeting kami sa bahay. Nakipag-meeting siya sa akin kasama ang pamilya niya. Ang dami nila. Just to go there to say no. Talagang sabi ng nanay niya, no… no… no, ayaw nila.

“Kasi nga baka sabihin… may mga expectation sa kanya. Pero no’ng kinausap ko sila, sabi ko, bakit kayo matatakot eh, kabutihan naman ang gagawin natin? At saka bakit mahihiya? Meron ka bang masamang gagawin, Shalani? Lahat naman ng ito ay pagtulong at pagbibigay ng saya.

“Tapos nag-meeting sila. Iyon nga, na-convince. Hanggang humingi na ng meeting with MVP (Manny Pangilinan). Tapos okey na. Hanggang sa winelcome na namin.”

The very first time pa lang daw niyang makita nang harapan si Shalani, napahanga na raw si Willie sa dalaga.  Marami raw itong magagandang katangian na ikabibilib mo raw talaga.

“Nakita ko sa kanya, mapanindigan, maprinsipyo, at totoong tao,” aniya pa.
Tuluy-tuloy ang pagratsada sa rating ng Willing Willie. Nakakapanibago nga dahil laging matao ang loob at labas ng TV5 compound sa Novaliches. Ang laki rin ng ipinag-iba ng building ng nasabing network na newly-renovated lahat pati ang canteen nito. Parang hotel na ang kapaligiran.

“Alam mo, hindi ako ang nagbago niyan. Ang nagbago niyan eh, ang sambayanan. Kahit anong ganda ng istasyon natin kung wala namang tao, bale-wala, eh. Kaya nga pagdating ko rito, kinausap ko kaagad ang management, puwede ba akong makialam?

“Sabi ko, baguhin natin ang canteen. Lahat ng kisameng butas, ayusin.”
At ‘yon na, buong building ng TV5 ay na-make-over talaga.

Sunod naming naitanong kay Willie, bukod kay Shalani, may iba pa ba siyang naiisip na kuning co-host din?
“Depende. Kasi kung may gustong sumama kay Shalani na mas makapagbibigay sa kanya ng kumbaga, saya. Gusto kong sumaya si Shalani. Para sumaya lahat. Puwedeng isang komedyanteng babae na maganda. Na parang iyon ang sidekick niya.”

Asahan nang darating ang panahong mali-link sina Willie at Shalani sa isa’t isa.  Hindi talaga maiiwasan iyon.
“You have to respect Shalani.  At the same time, hindi naman porke kasama mo eh, puwede nang i-link. Siyempre ang lahat eh para sa programa.”

Ganyan?

EDU MANZANO NAG RESIGN SA "Asar Talo Lahat Panalo" GMA7 GARBAGE GAME SHOW!

Edu Manzano is such a LOSER! Talo na nga talaga siya! from losing to the Election 2010 and now he resigned from his stupid, garbage, ugly, and laos game show sa GMA7 ang "Asar Talo Lahat Panalo".
Obviously, Nag resign siya dahil sa Ka-flop ng programa. Low ratings at never won to ABS-CBN slot.

Former Kapamilya host Edu Manzano reportedly resigned as host of GMA-7's noontime show "Asar Talo Lahat Panalo" after rumors that Kapuso executives will soon terminate the said program. Low ratings and poor advertisement loads is blamed to be the reason why the higher-ups are considering to axe the recently launched noontime program.

With these developments the highly profiled kapuso talent, accordingly, decided to withdraw the hosting job, which many thinks is not well suited to the actor-host. However neither GMA-7 nor Edu Manzano himself has yet to comment on this matter confirming or denying the said news.

The question now is, what will happen to Edu Manzano? Will he be given another project? or will he suffer fate of being a kapuso..., faintly dying star?

MANILA, Philippines - Women in the Philippines rank food a lot higher than their sex life among the main things that make them happy, according to a government survey released Wednesday.

Both Filipino men and women ranked family, health and religion in that order as the three most important things that made them happy, the National Statistical Coordination Board found in a poll.

Female respondents, however, put food in fifth place, just ahead of work. Love life came 10th and and sex life at 18th, just one rank above the bottom.

For men, love life figured in 6th place and sex life 10th, with food at 9th.

And this can lead to trouble, said the agency's secretary-general Romulo Virola.

"This is easy to trivialise, but the unmet expectations for love and sex by either partner can surely lead to problems, and must be managed properly and professionally," he wrote on the government agency's website.
For the Philippine poor, the survey found that men ranked their sex, love lives and food at the top while women said family, love life and food were top of their lists.

In the four months since Benigno Aquino became president of the Philippines, the impoverished country's population has grown by about 600,000 -- the fastest rate of increase in Southeast Asia.

It now stands at around 94 million and there have been calls to increase access to contraception in the devoutly Catholic nation.

The non-random 2010 poll covered 356 respondents in two Manila districts, a nearby province, staff of two government offices and one private firm.

Maalaala Mo Kaya (Nov 13) Episode starring ang nagbabalik telebisyon Roxanne Guinoo !

It’s only been two months since Roxanne Guinoo gave birth to a beautiful baby girl, but she has already agreed to do an episode of Maalaala Mo Kaya (MMK). She will be playing Albert Martinez’s second wife who isn’t easily get accepted by his children. “Tungkol ito sa isang madrasta at ipapakita namin dito kung paano nagiging hindi madali para sa isang tao na pumasok lang sa isang pamilya. Yung mga typical na nangyayari ’pag hindi magkasundo yung madrasta at mga anak ng naging asawa niya,” said Roxanne in an exclusive interview with Push.com.ph on the set of MMK last November 5.

Although she’s known as one of the best dramatic actresses of her generation, Roxanne admitted that she still felt a little nervous during her first few scenes with Albert. “Na-miss ko talaga ang pag-arte. Para akong nangangapa ulit kasi siyempre halos isang taon mahigit akong hindi nag-drama e. Tsaka kapag gaya nito, kasabay ko si Tito Albert siyempre may pressure. Ganun lagi tuwing may nakakatrabaho ako na veteran actor, nate-tense ako and all kasi alam mo kung anong kaya nilang ibigay sa isang eksena so kailangan mo sumabay.”

Roxanne happily shared though that Albert proved to be a very helpful leading man. He made sure that the young actress felt comfortable with him by giving her some acting advice. “First time namin magka-work. Ang kahit anong isang scene pa lang nagagawa namin, napansin ko na nagri-reach out si Tito Albert, siya gumagabay sa akin. Bago mag-take inexplain niya kung anong gagawin namin kasi siyempre may konting ilang factor pa e. I think nakatulong na director din siya so mas pinauunawa niya sa akin kung paano ibabato yung eksena.”

Raising her own family may be her number one priority for now, but Roxanne was quick to say that she has no plans of quitting showbiz. It’s just that she will be choosing projects that wouldn’t take too much time away from her baby. “Yung plans sa career, tiwala naman ako sa Star Magic. Kahit naman nung nagbuntis ako sina Mr. M (Johnny Manahan) nandiyan pa rin para sa akin. Kasi gano’n naman ako, hinaharap ko din naman kung ano man pinagdadaanan ko. Mabait naman ang Diyos. Hindi naman ako nawawalan ng trabaho. Pero ngayon singit singit muna ang guestings. So ngayon masaya ako dahil at least ang comeback ko mabigat agad dahil MMK.”

Aside from doing an episode for MMK, she said that she’s looking forward to more challenging roles and hosting stints as well. “Oo, masaya ako sa acting and hosting na very light, very pang-masa. Tapos kung acting siguro why not try magkontrabida? Willing ako kasi ang pag-arte naman gagawin mo talaga mga ganun. Yun lang nili-limit ko na mga ginagawa ko kasi ngayong may pamilya na ako yun ang unang priority. Pero hindi naman sa tatalikuran ko ang showbiz para sa kanila. Gagawin ko itong trabaho para sa kanila din. Pero may mga eksenang gagawin na ‘di na lang saril ko ang iisipin ko. Masaya ako sa desisyon ko,” she concluded.

Coco Martin will receive a "Walk of Fame Philippines" Star sa Eastwood City!

Award-winning actor Coco Martin will receive his own star on the “Walk of Fame Philippines,” the country’s version of Hollywood Walk of Fame, in Quezon City next month.

In his November 8 online column, veteran host German Moreno said Martin is one of the 30 celebrities who will be given the honor on December 1 in Eastwood City, Libis.

“Isa si Coco sa 30 artista na mailalagay ang pangalan sa marmol sa Eastwood City. Isang maringal na programa ang inihahanda ko bilang parangal sa 30 karagdagang pangalan na mai-imortalize sa nasabing lugar,” Moreno, dubbed as the master showman, wrote.

The hunk actor is also set to fly to the United States to promote his film "Noy," which is the Philippines' official entry to the Foreign Language Film category of the Oscars.

The 30-year old actor, hailed as the “Prince of Indie Films,” is one of the country’s youngest famers aside from John Lloyd Cruz, Sarah Geronimo, KC Concepcion and Christian Bautista.

The “Walk of Fame Philippines” was initiated by Moreno in December 2005 to pay tribute to both living and departed actors and actresses who gave exemplary contributions to Philippine show business.

'Willing Willie' and '24 Oras' tinalo ang 'TV Patrol' sa Mega Manila TV Ratings (November 8) Monday!

Willie Willie was able to match the tv rating of 24 Oras to place 3rd in Mega Manila beating the new TV Patrol which settled for 4th place.

24 Oras, featuring the tandem of Mel Tiangco and Mike Enriquez, is still the most-watched primetime news program in Mega Manila. Willing Willie, on the other hand, with Shalani Soledad‘s debut as co-host of Willie Revillame, was tied with 24 Oras Monday night. The two programs were able to beat the new TV Patrol featuring the comeback of Korina Sanchez and Noli de Castro.
Meanwhile, Magkaribal ended its run last Friday night topping Mega Manila’s primetime race. Imortal is back at no. 1 Monday night.

Prized Kapuso broadcast journalist Kara David got bombarded with tweets criticizing her own Twitter posts that many deemed as a swipe against anchors from rival networks.

“News programs should be watched for the content and credibility of its news, not the looks and ‘sex appeal’ of its presenters,” Kara tweeted in the afternoon of Nov. 7.

A minute later, she added, “Bato-bato sa langit tamaan huwag magalit.”

Many could not believe that David, who is a recent recipient of the TOWNS (The Outstanding Women in Nation’s Service) award, and the second of only two Filipinas to have received the prestigious Peabody Award, could post such comments, as seen on Twitter and local forum Pinoyexchange. Some branded her tweets “cheap,” her sentiments “bitter” or “threatened.”

“I respect Kara David being a Peobody awardee, until this afternoon in twitter,” said one.

“4 sum1 wrking n d media & being d daughter of randy david, i expected u to have at least phrased ur statemnt or chose better words,” wrote another.

“wag sayangin ang mga parangal sa mga opinyong dulot ng inggit ok? Inyong inyo ang kredibilidad nyo walang umaagaw!” posted another Twitter user.

Numerous netizens also supposed that she was referring to ABS-CBN’s “TV Patrol,” the rival show of GMA-7’s “24 Oras.” Some noticed how David’s tweet appeared to coincide with the changes in the lineup of “Patrol” with the return of Korina Sanchez and Noli De Castro on the program.

One user tweeted David, saying, “that’s why we watch tv patrol.. it is more credible..”

To which David responded: “I respect your opinion. Pero mas maraming intl and local awards ang 24oras. I think that speaks a lot.”

“u love 24ORAS AND that's perfectly fine. no question with that. but saying negatives about the other speaks so much about YOU,” posted another user.

While there were those who speculated that David’s tweets were about their industry rivals, others cautioned her to watch her words because it could offend her very own colleagues in GMA.

“I think @karadavid is insulting her colleagues too bad for them!” exclaimed one.

Another wondered: “how will you explain this to mel [tiangco] and mike [enriquez]? (anchors of ’24 Oras’) na wala kasi silang 'sex appeal'?”

Based on some of the posts of Twitter users and forum members, Kara deleted her tweets shortly. But her posts were saved for posterity through screenshots of her Twitter page posted on Pinoyexchange.com. Some, including her GMA News and Public Affairs colleague Tinna Panganiban-Perez, also re-tweeted her post

Break na sina Gerald Anderson at Bea Alonzo!

Ito ang impormasyong nakuha ng YES! Magazine na ipinarating sa PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) ngayong umaga, November 8.

Ayon sa source, nangyari ang breakup ng dalawang Star Magic talents sa final leg ng kanilang Heartthrobs tour-concert sa London nito lang nagdaang weekend, November 6 at 7.

Bagamat hindi kailanman umamin sina Gerald at Bea tungkol sa tunay na estado ng kanilang relasyon, marami ang naniniwala na nagkaroon ng relasyon ang dalawa.

Isang source na malapit sa dalawang Star Magic talents ang nagsabi sa YES! na noong Abril ng taong kasalukuyan nagsimula ang magandang pagtitinginan nina Gerald at Bea. Ito ay naganap sa New York leg ng Heartthrobs concert-tour nila.

Sa New York daw inamin pareho nina Gerald at Bea na gusto nila ang isa't isa.

Si Bea, 23, ay attracted daw sa mga tisoy, kung ang pagbabasehan ay ang hitsura ng ex-boyfriend nitong si Mico Palanca.

Samantalang si Gerald, 21, ay matagal na palang may crush kay Bea, simula pa noong Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition days niya.

Sa New York, inamin ng dalawa sa isa't isa ang kanilang mutual attraction.

Pero umabot lang daw talaga ang dalawa sa pag-amin. Hindi raw nila naipakita ang kanilang damdamin para sa isa't isa dahil wala silang naging pagkakataon na mapag-isa.

Sa New York daw kasi, palagi silang isang buong grupo kung kumilos. At kasa-kasama nila noon ang iba pang Kapamilya stars sa concert-tour—sina Piolo Pascual, John Lloyd Cruz, at Sam Milby.

Kasama rin ang mismong ka-loveteam ni Gerald na si Kim Chiu.

Bukod dito, nakita raw nina Gerald at Bea na hindi maaaring basta ilabas sa publiko ang kanilang relasyon dahil sa demands ng kanilang mga showbiz careers.

Alam naman ng lahat kung gaano kalakas sa masa ang tambalan ni Gerald kay Kim, samantalang si Bea naman ay ngayon pa lang nakakawala sa team-up nila ng perennial leading man niyang si John Lloyd.

Ang nangyayari nga sa showbiz ngayon, gusto ng fans na kung sino ang magkapareha sa screen ay siya ring magkapareha sa tunay na buhay. Kaya nagbubuo pa sila ng mga fan clubs sa paligid ng mga tambalang ito—at masama talaga ang loob nila sa sinumang kumalas sa tambalan.

Alam daw ito nina Bea at Gerald kaya tikom-bibig sila sa nararamdaman para sa isat isa.

Ayon pa sa YES! source, sa New York tour pa lang ay natunugan na ni Kim ang bagong pagtitinginan nina Gerald at Bea.

Wala nga raw kasing panahon na hindi sila magkakasama bilang grupo. At kung interesado si Kim kay Gerald, sa masikip na mundong iyon ay hindi maaring hindi niya mahalata kung may bagong pinagtutuunan ng pansin ang binata.

Dito na rin nilinaw ng YES! source ang tungkol kina Kim at Gerald.

Nang mga panahon daw na iyon, hindi mag-on ang onscreen couple.

Totoong may naging relasyon sina Kim at Gerald, ayon pa sa YES! source.

Ngunit dahil mga bata pa ang mga ito—si Gerald ay 21 at si Kim ay 20—on and off daw ang relasyon ng dalawa—at nang sila ay nasa New York, talagang off sila.

Si Kim daw ang laging nakikipag-break kay Gerald, habang si Gerald naman ang laging nanunuyo sa dalaga. Ngunit noong mga panahong iyon, matagal-tagal na raw na hindi sinusuyo ni Gerald si Kim.

Lalo raw kung ikukumpara ito sa maraming breakups nila noong nakaraan, ang huli nilang tampuhan ay nagtagal. Kaiba raw ito, dahil dati ay hindi raw masyadong nagtatagal ang pagitan ng away-bati ng dalawa.

Samantala, sa publiko, pag natatanong si Kim tungkol sa bagong kaganapan, binibiro-biro pa nito si Gerald tungkol kay Bea.

Bilang showbiz ang mundo nina Gerald, Kim, at Bea, inaasahang hindi maitatago nang matagal ang sikreto. Ganoon nga ang nangyari.

Ilang linggo lang matapos ang Heartthrobs concert sa New York ay kumalat na sa Pilipinas ang balitang may namamagitan kina Gerald at Bea.

Pero tuwing tatanungin ang dalawa tungkol dito, direkta nilang itinatanggi na may relasyon sila.

Sabi ng YES! source, wala raw naging choice sina Gerald at Bea. Sa kalakalan daw ng showbiz, parang naging "good soldiers" pa nga ang mga ito.

Ibig sabihin, hindi nila kusang bubulabugin ang plano ng kanilang network para sa kanilang mga career.

At kung matindi man ang nararamdaman nila para sa isa't isa, didisiplinahin nila ang mga sarili upang ito ay manatiling pribado na lamang.

"Hindi ko nililigawan si Bea," ang deklarasyon pa nga ni Gerald nang tanungin siya sa isang presscon noong September 16.

Pitong buwan matapos magsabihan nina Gerald at Bea ng kanilang nararamdaman sa New York, may panibagong pangyayari sa isa na namang Heartthrobs concert-tour nito.

Nito lang nagdaang weekend, sa London naman.

Ayon sa source ng YES!, nakipag-break na si Gerald kay Bea.

Matagal-tagal na rin daw pinag-iisipan ni Gerald ang desisyong ito. At hindi raw dahil nawalan ito ng interes sa young actress, o gusto nang makipagbalikan nito kay Kim, o may iba nang napupusuan.

Ginawa raw ito ng young actor para "maprotektahan" ang mga taong pinapahalagahan niya.

Matatandaang umiyak si Gerald sa presscon ng latest movie nila ni Kim, ang Till My Heartaches End, habang sinasabi na may natatanggap siyang death threats mula sa fans.

Ang masama pa, ayon kay Gerald, may mga taong nadadamay.

May banta na raw sa buhay ni Bea. May balitang pasasabuyan ng acid ang mukha ng Star Magic star, kundi man patayin ito.

Dagdag pa rito, iniyakan nang husto ni Gerald ang banta sa buhay ng kanyang ina, na si Virgie Anderson. Dahil hiwalay ang mga magulang ni Gerald, at nang bumalik siya sa Pilipinas ay naging katuwang na niya ang ina, malapít sa isa't isa ang mag-ina.

Sa press conference ring iyon, binanggit ni Gerald ang pagkakalugmok niya sa pagbabanta sa kanyang ina. Bakit naman daw dinadamay pa ang mga inosente, na walang kinalaman sa isyung binabato sa kanya.

Sabi ng YES! source, nito ngang nasa London si Gerald, minabuti nitong gumawa na ng hakbang para maging tahimik na ang lahat.

Lalo na raw at malapit na ang Kapaskuhan, gusto niya ng "peace" para sa kanilang lahat.

Kaya niya tinapos ang relasyon nila ni Bea.

Hindi malinaw kung paano ito tinanggap ni Bea.

Aminado si Kim na hindi naging madali para sa kanya ang paglabas ng balita tungkol kina Gerald at Bea.

Lalo pa't sa pagkakaalam ng marami ay nagkaroon din sila ng relasyon ni Gerald nang higit pa sa pagiging magkaibigan at magka-loveteam.

Sa isang interview sa kanya ng The Buzz, inamin ni Kim na nasaktan siya sa pagkaka-link ni Gerald kay Bea.

Ani Kim, "Hindi naman ako robot na walang pakiramdam. Aminin naman natin na, opo."

Noong July nga ay may balitang nagtangkang magpakamatay si Kim dahil daw sa paghihiwalay nila ni Gerald at ang pagkakaugnay nga ng young actor kay Bea.

Pero mariin itong pinabulaanan ng young actress.

"Alam n'yo, kalokohan and katangahan para sa akin na gawin ko yun," sabi ni Kim.

"Patayin ko ang sarili ko? Bakit? Sino ang mag-aalaga sa mga kapatid ko? Sino ang bubuhay sa kanila? At may ipinapagawa akong bahay na dream house ko. Sino'ng magtatapos no'n?"

Dagdag niya, "Lahat naman ng tao dumaraan sa proseso ng buhay, sa baba, sa itaas, masaya, malungkot. Pero dahan-dahan, nagiging okay naman ang lahat. Katulad ko, masaya naman ako ngayon."

Ngayong nakipag-break na si Gerald kay Bea, marami ang mag-aabang kung manunumbalik ang dating magandang samahan nina Kim at Gerald.

O kung mananatili silang magandang mag-partner na lamang sa telebisyon at pelikula.
